Overview
This guest house is 200 metres from the gates of the fortified city of Ait Benhaddou. It features a hammam, an outdoor swimming pool and a terrace with views of the kasbah, where many famous movies have been filmed. All rooms at Dar Mouna offer views of the swimming pool or kasbah. They feature traditional Moroccan furnishings with colourful, intricate designs. Each room has its own bathroom with shower and amenities. A free breakfast is included daily in the room rate and can be taken in the air-conditioned restaurant. Fresh vegetables are grown on the property and Moroccan cookery courses can be arranged at Dar Mouna. Free Wi-Fi is provided in the lounge with a stone fireplace and long couches.

“A beautiful vantage point for watching the sunrise and sunset in Ait Ben Haddou. Perfect for a one-night stay.”
If you want to spend time in Ait Ben Haddou outside of peak tourist season, this is the place to stay. The best part is the terrace, which offers a direct view of the ksars. The owner is friendly and welcoming.

“Amazing view !”
We definitely enjoyed our stay at Dar Mouna. The staff was lovely, the room is simple but totally fine, the best is the view from the terrace where you will have dinner and breakfast: amazing location. Highly recommended!

“A wonderful and welcoming one-night stay in a clean, spacious room with delicious breakfast and stun”
I was travelling solo with my 6-year-old, and Ait Benhaddou was our first stop. We stayed for one night and absolutely loved it. Rachid, the staff member, was so lovely and welcoming. The room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast was delicious with an amazing view of Ait Benhaddou. We will definitely come back for sure. I highly recommend this location for families too.

“We loved it, can recommend!”
We had a perfect time! Excellent host, excellent beds, excellent breakfast with a perfect view. The location was the best and the staff was incredibly helpful. We had dinner and breakfast at the riad, both were really nice, basic meals, exactly what you would want after a long drive or a good night's sleep.

We had a wonderful stay. The rooms were very beautiful and comfortable. The rooftop sun terrace offers an amazing view of Ait Ben Haddou. The hosts were very kind and welcoming. Breakfast was also very good and enjoying it with a view over the city made it even better.

“Lovely hotel with a view of the kasbah”
We stayed at the hotel for one night. The facilities are very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed sitting in the sun, either on the terrace or by the pool. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious and had a lovely view of the kasbah.

“Incredible views of the old town backed by snow covered Atlas mountains”
There was lots to like with our stay at Dar Mouna, which included an excellent breakfast and great staff service. The main memory we take away from our short stay were the stunning views of the river and the old town of Ait Ben Haddou while sitting around the patio area. We must have spent a good couple of hours on the balcony looking out onto the views.

Dar Mouna is an ideal hotel to enjoy Ait Ben Haddou for a good value for money. The terrace facing the ksar is superb and the backyard terrace with the pool is perfect to relax.

“An authentic Berber experience”
The friendliness was very superb. The ambient was very nice, it was like spending a weekend at Obi Wan Kenobi's vacation house :) The cats were super cute.

“Nice stay including a pool”
Perfect view onto the unesco world Heritage. All in walking distance. Staff is very kind. Parking on the property is perfect. Rooms are plain but do the deed for a night.
