The host Ghayat was incredible. The place is beautiful and hospitality impeccable.

Very pretty Auberge with comfortable, clean rooms. Loved having my coffee on the terrace. The dinner was very tasty too. The lady manager was very kind. Close to Ait Benhaddou but far from the noise the tourist buses. We took a walk in the ksar in the late afternoon when most of the tourists were already gone. Enter through the bridge, they don’t ask you for an entry fee there. If you try to enter through the river, they will ask you for an entry fee. I would be ok with it if it was done in a polite way, which wasn’t the case.

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was beautiful and we slept very well. Sadly we only stayed for one night. Next time we‘ll definitly stay longer.

Amazing stay here, it is all so quiet even if is close to the touristic zone. The view is amazing, the rooms are big and very typical. The staff is amazing and the food delicious and authentic.

This is a lovely little hotel with a beautiful view over the valley. Ghayat was especially helpful accommodating out daughter’s dietary needs (no gluten, which can be difficult).

“Perfect place to visit Aït Benhaddou!”

We stayed one night at Auberge Ayouze on our way to the Dades Gorge, and the experience was perfect in every way. We were warmly welcomed with mint tea and peanuts, which we enjoyed on the terrace overlooking stunning scenery. The setting is peaceful, tastefully decorated, and full of charm. Our room was small but very comfortable. Since it was a bit cold, the hosts kindly provided an additional heater. The en suite bathroom had running warm water and toiletries, which made our stay even more pleasant. We had a three-course dinner at the in-house restaurant, where they thoughtfully lit the fireplace—it created such a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The food was delicious and clearly prepared with care. As a vegetarian, I was delighted with the lovely vegetable tagine they made for me, while my husband and daughter enjoyed grilled chicken with vegetables—simple, home-cooked food that we loved. The next morning, we went to Ait Benhaddou for sunrise, just a three-minute drive away, and returned only after 11:30. Despite us arriving well past the usual breakfast hours, they still served us a generous and tasty breakfast, complete with fresh honey-stuffed warm bread. Their hospitality truly made us feel at home—nothing was too much trouble. The terrace offers breathtaking views, perfect for relaxing and taking in the scenery. Though we stayed only one night, we easily could have stayed longer to unwind fully. Overall, I’d give Auberge Ayouze five stars for its hospitality, decor, food, ambience, cleanliness, and location.

Everything was spotless, and this was one of the best places we stayed in Morocco. The atmosphere was super relaxing, and the host, Ghayat, was incredibly warm and welcoming. The room was amazing, with a lovely terrace. Heaters were provided, and there were plenty of blankets to keep us warm. The bathroom and shower were excellent, with reliable hot water. I highly recommend having dinner there, we were served a very unique and delicious meal, along with an amazing dessert. I would definitely recommend staying here. The rooms, the hospitality, and the overall experience were outstanding.

This place is exceptional, Ghayat is an amazing host and made my husband and I feel part of the family. Ghayat and her team tended to our every need throughout our stay with such flexibility and kindness. Their food is incredible, authentic and tasty, and again flexible for dietary requirements. We felt so cared for and looked after, and the facilities were perfect. The room was wonderful and as we were visiting in December it was colder than usual, so Ghayat provided us with a heater for our room which was great and toastie! Comfy blankets and bedding were provided too, everything was fantastic. The hotel itself is a work of art, curated beautifully with artwork, gorgeous rugs and artefacts. The restaurant room is amazing and there are so many interesting pieces across the walls to admire. I almost forgot to mention the amazing terrace, with views of the mountains and Ait Benhadou - phenomenal for stargazing at night and a lovely sun trap in the day. It even has a little book room on the terrace with comfy seats, pillows and blankets, with great lighting for nighttime and a plethora of books to enjoy. Beautiful hotel with beautiful people, thank you to Ghayat and the team for an amazing experience.
