Overview
Whitsunday on the beach is located on the Airlie Beach Lagoon in the center of town. All our studio units are self-contained with Reverse cycle air-conditioning, balcony or patio, outdoor setting and kitchenettes. Parking is available at the lagoon car park (fees apply) behind the units. Airport shuttle buses also pick up and drop off at the lagoon car park. Guest arriving via Greyhound or Premier buses to the bus depot taxis are available Guests have direct access to Airlie Beach Lagoon swimming pool, park lands, beach and walkways. At the tour desk, guests can book several tours to the Great Barrier Reef or Whitehaven beach and Islands. Car and Scooter hire is also available from the tour desk. Whitsunday On The Beach is within walking distance from restaurants, entertainment and shopping. Hamilton Island Airport is only 26 km away, while Whitsunday Coast Airport is just 38 km away. Transfers to both airports are available via the tour desk.

The location. Right in the front of the lagoon, with access to the lagoon side, as well as the main road side.

Enjoyed an excellent (but too brief!) stay in our large, well-appointed room with ready access out to the Marina area and located right in the centre of Airlie Beach close to all the restaurants, shops etc. Could not have been better. Thanks to owner Richard for helpfulness in booking us in early and in suggestions for things to do in and around the resort. (Also lending us an adaptor to charge our UK phones!)

Excellent location, facilities and very comfortable bed. Easy reach of everything. Lagoon was 20metres from our door 😁. Supermarket and rest very close, but nice and quiet. Excellent value for money.
