“Misleadin”
Coming to Airlie Beach for a professional event, I booked this space for a colleague and myself based on the description "2 bedroom apartment". It's not. There are 2 beds in 2 rooms, neither of which can be described as a bedroom. One bed is immediately adjacent the entry door and in the living/kitchen area, the other very small bed is in an adjacent windowless alcove that has to be traversed to access the bathroom. There is no AC or ceiling fan in this space so the connecting door must be left open to obtain any cooling effect. There is no wardrobe/hanging space and the one small shelf is covered in children's toys. There is no privacy for 2 adults. A more accurate description would be "granny flat under existing house, suitable for a couple with small child". For this use it is an okay space, with a nice outlook convenient to but not impacted by the main commercial area. However for me, it was not appropriate. I've gone back and reread the property description and photos. Nowhere would I have realised what I'd actually booked. Please, truth in advertising! Oh, and when I asked for a receipt I got a printout of the booking.com confirmation, not a tax invoice, even though my visit was clearly identified as business.

Great location, with a short walk to the center. Clean and comfortable with lots of great facilities to use. Owner was friendly and accommodating to us, would recommend this apartment to anyone.
