Great location, beds were comfy

Location was amazing. The actual grounds of the hostel were great and the pub next door was fab. Staff friendly as well. Beds comfortable.

Staying at Nomads Airlie was genuinely the best decision we made on our entire trip. From the second we arrived, the vibe was unreal — amazing atmosphere, great people, and honestly felt like paradise. The pool area is next level and became our daily hangout spot, and the kitchen facilities were actually so good compared to most hostels. Everything was clean, social, and just had the perfect energy. But the real reason we booked — and the absolute highlight of the whole place — was Ellis. Easily the greatest worker to ever walk this planet. This man deserves a statue outside the hostel. Funniest, friendliest, most welcoming person ever and completely made our experience unforgettable. He went above and beyond every single day and created such an incredible environment for everyone there. If Ellis ever leaves, the Australian tourism industry might collapse. Could not recommend Nomads Airlie more. Unreal hostel, unreal people, unreal memories. We already want to come back.

In a good location with a strip of pubs, nightclubs, restaurants,clothing stores, etc in walking distance. staff are so friendly and helpful. The office is open late which is convenient if you’re getting to your accommodation late.

“Bad facilities, good setting”

The setting of the hostel and its communal areas is certainly lovely; it consists of bungalows set within a sort of campsite where you can eat outdoors even in the evening and watch the sunset and sunrise. It’s in the very heart of Airlie Beach and serves as a starting point for tours and shuttle services.

Good location, we stayed in a private room which was a great size and comfy bed.

The location is brilliant and the wildlife around the room was amazing, e.g. Cockatoos. The room was spacious, the aircon worked fine.

7.40 sorry you can't go in there ( 3 girls getting dressed to go out) excuse me I paid for my room we have to poor chemicals come back in 2 hrs wtf chemicals 😡 so yes we breathes in fumes all night was not happy that place needs a maintance o er haul all about the ching ching not people's comfort or happiness! I booked out only only staying 9.45pm-6am so much for go away and destress doctors orders! I hope I will be receiving a refund for 5/4 have even heard back from nomads or Cody whom was at work yesterday! Worst little get away ever not to mention exposed to chemicals I will be going to Qld environment n health & safety
