The view is exceptional. Unfortunately the weather on Skye is less so 😂The property is the cleanest I have ever stayed in. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need. No washing machine, which would be handy as I stayed for a week, but I knew this before booking. This is the second time I have visited and wouldn’t hesitate to book again or recommend. Underfloor heating which makes it very cosy and is adjustable, plus there’s a log burner for those colder evenings or you get soaked in the rain, as I did! The bedroom is cosy and comfy and lovely bathroom with walk in shower. The decor is tasteful and the little touches Sally has provided especially with the welcome basket make Byre 7 my first choice to stay on Skye! I’d recommend a walk to the Point of Sleat, don’t stop at the beach, continue to the lighthouse where the views are just breathtaking. 10/10

“10/10 excellent place with an incredible view, absolute luxury”

Absolutely incredible location, so good we spent a whole day in the accomodation rather than exploring the island. The standard of finish was luxurious and to a very high standard. The bed was conforatble with excellent linen, duvets and pillows, underfloor heating was a great touch. Welcome basket was appreciated, views were unreal with excellent layout to appreciate them. Got to meet the owner - whol lives next door, very friendly and welcoming. Everything has been thought of. Do not hesitiate in booking a stay here

This place is absolutely beautiful. The view, the facilities, the owners (Smudge the cat)… one of the best accommodations I ever stayed at. You wake up with those views and go to bed looking at a perfectly starry sky, in perfect harmony with the universe.

“Stunning retreat with the most breathtaking view”

This was our second stay at Byre 7 and it was even better than the first time. Sally made us feel so welcome as returning guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need, so we spent a few nights taking in the breathtaking view whilst eating our meals. The inn just down the round also does good food and is worth a visit. With a walk to the best beach on Skye and Point of Sleat on the doorstep, we didn’t need to venture too far. However, Sally recommended a boat trip to Loch Coruisk and it was the highlight of our stay. Byre 7 is in such a peaceful, picturesque location that you switch off and relax the minute you arrive. Thank you to Sally and Donald for creating such a perfect holiday home, we will definitely be returning again in the future.

Byre 7 is just a really amazing place, it could not be better, the views, the comfort of the place, the decoration, the facilities and on top of this beautiful place, the owner Sally, a really kind and helpful person, we are very grateful to her for such a great stay.

The views were amazing and Sally and Donald were lovely. The lodge itself was absolutely beautiful and we had such a great time there. it's a fantastic place to go for a quiet relaxing break. The facilities were brilliant and everything you need is there. We're looking forward to our next stay at BYRE 7.

What an amazing place to stay with exceptional views, hard to beat if I’m honest. We were really looking forward to this stay before we came, but the warm welcome from Sally and the thoughtful welcome pack, along with the brilliantly restored byre, just kept exceeding our expectations. A five star stay made even better by a host that has thought of everything! Highlights on Skye - the coffee at the Clan Donald Stables Cafe in Armadale, the views from the Trotternish peninsula including The Quiriang and Kilt Rock, and the Black Cuillin Mountains view from Sligachan Hotel. Thoroughly recommend, and would love to come back one day.

“Beautifully tranquil, super comfortable and the best views.”

Beautiful little lodge with the mosh amazing views. So peaceful. We had everything we could need. Bathroom had so much space and love a waterfall shower. The bed was super comfy and we slept so well. Kitchen was well equipped. It was also nice to have access to Netflix at night when we wanted to chill after being out all day walking. The lodge was lovely and warm. It felt like a home away from home. We were so sad to leave.

It was very clean! I’ve never had an accomodation this clean! And the view was purely amazing! Sally was also really friendly and helpful. We will for sure come back!
