From the moment we arrived until we left the staff could not have done more to make our stay enjoyable. The view from our room was fantastic. The food and wine served in the restaurant was excellent. Breakfasts designed to suit all tastes. Will return, no doubt!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Since it was out of season (march), all the restaurants in the town was closed. They prepared us a very nice snacks and good wine as a dinner in our own terrace. We enjoyed it a lot, it was much wonderful than a normal restaurant dinner.

Lovely village, very relaxing,staff were attentive and friendly. The room was tasteful decorated and we had a queen sized bed so comfortable. Our dog was welcome to join us for dinner on terrace in the evening. Secure parking. We didn’t mind the hourly bells but you need to keep the windows closed or too loud.

In a few words’ summary, we liked everything about this hotel. On arrival we were warmly greeted and shown to our room, a very spacious, comfortable and well-equipped bedroom with a balcony overlooking the gardens and with uninterrupted views of the mountains beyond. The en-suite bathroom was also very clean and with a large shower. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, and each meal was very well-presented and especially tasty. Add in the open-air swimming pool (which had views to die for), the well-maintained gardens, comfortable lounge areas, attentive and friendly staff (who welcomed and treated our dog as if she was one of the guests) and easy parking, and you have a hotel that we would be more than happy to return to at any time. Ainhoa is a beautiful historic village set amidst wonderful Pyrenean countryside and with great walking directly from the hotel’s door.

What a lovely stay to celebrate a special occasion. Our room and the whole hotel were decorated to a very high standard, it was very stylish with lovely touches. Staff were warm, friendly and helpful. We were made to feel very welcome, and so was our dog! We enjoyed the views, the setting, the pool and delicious food.

Lovely location, very friendly and helpful staff. Room superb, some reviews mention church bells and traffic neither of these were a problem. Lovely terrace for evening food, due to early start we did not see breakfast.

This is the way to enjoy the French Basque area. Get away from the crowds and enjoy beautiful countryside. Our room had a balcony where we we ended our day with wine and a charcuterie board of meats and cheese from the restaurant. Parking is offered behind the hotel but you are allowed to drop off your luggage at the entrance. The staff are kind, pleasant, and helpful. They added to the joy of our stay. I highly recommend this place.

The room we booked faced the road and opposite the town church which we were not aware of. Traffic noise and church bells ALL NIGHT ON THE HOUR AND EVERY HALF HOUR not much sleep as a result. The staff moved us to a back room facing the mountain the next day which was perfect. A lovely view and a quiet room. Book a room at the back of the hotel if road noise and ALL night church bells disturb you.

I chose a room with a kitchen. I was able to cook comfortably. The town was quiet, and the room was simple and comfortable.

Very flash accommodation in Bidarray. Aircon was a welcome feature on the hot day we were there, though for some reason it kept switching itself off and we had to restart it.

The staff were very friendly and helpful individuals, we arrived out of ordinary kitchen hours but we were served a nice selection of hams and cheeses in addition to local wine. The location is excellent and very central. Stayed at the apartment within the hotel, generous size and a terrace facing the mountains!

A beautiful, quiet room in a lovely hotel. The staff were very attentive and accommodating. The brasserie meal and the breakfast service were both excellent. I wish I had more than one night here!
