I had a wonderful stay at this chalet. It was very clean and well-equipped with all the necessary kitchen tools and electrical appliances. The owner was extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay. The location is also excellent—just a few minutes’ walk from the beach. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

The room was very nice, Eng. Ahmed was very welcoming and kept in contact through our stay to make sure that everything is fine. The location is beautiful and the beach is sandy.

“Friendly Host”

A very friendly host who followed up with me to ensure we had a good time. I also forgot one of our items and he shipped it to me. Thank you so much. Very good value for money compared to all other options, put in mind the resort charge entry fees you will pay directly to the host ( already mentioned in the booking info so nothing unexpected), still better than all other options. Clean Chalet, clean sheets, and the air conditioner covering the whole flat. and it is in a very good condition. The pool is very clean and wide. but it can get busy around 4-5 PM but almost empty till 1-2 PM Chalet had a nice pool view. Clean chalet and resort except the beach which needs some attention. Good markets nearby but some items are expensive.

“Disaster”

Let me say in advance: -I am genius 3 level customer, i have never had any complain, you can check my profile with you, -I have been almost in 100 countries, and honestly I can recognise immediatly between a good host and a weird situation. -I am travelling with my wife and my old parents all around Egypt, -we had no internet connection in the Palmera Chalet, no Wi-Fi. -from 5th to 7th January we will be in Cairo, at Tahrir Plaza Suites, That is what happened to me with this host: -the host called and wrote me many times the last 2 days before my check-in, asking for my documents, It was something stressful.. -we arrived from Hurghada to Ain Sokhna late at night around 9:00pm the 1st of January.. it was a long way, more than 300km, without lunch.. the only restaurant in the area was that at the PALMERA BEACH HOTEL next to the PALMERA CHALET and it was closing at 9:30pm. So we had only half an hour for dinner. I gave him straight away cash in hand 50 euros (if you check my reservation there is written : 10-14 usd fees for the chalet + 40usd for damage deposit) and we seated for eating that was our priority. He interrupted us many times to offer services, from changing money to selling a transfer to Alexandria.. We had asked nothing to him and it was stressful again. -The next day, he contacted me again to sell the transfer to Alexandria.. it was something weird and stressful from a host.. We found a better solution for the transfer that he had offered to us.. so we declined his offer.. Meanwhile We agreed with him a date for the next morning at 5:40am for the checkout because we had to leave at 6:00am, so he could give us back our damage deposit. I don’t know why but I already knew that he was not coming at the date, and my presentiment was true, he didn’t show up. When we arrived in Alexandria, i had Wi-Fi, and I checked my WhatsApp chat. he tried to apologise in some way and offered to give me back my damage deposit in Cairo, 100km away.. In Cairo ??

The apartment is cozy, clean, tidy and well equipped. It has everything you want. Eng. Ahmed and Mr. Fady, they were so nice and very welcoming.

Admed’s Appartment was lovely, Admed has help us a lot, while just passing through.

I am keen to leave a review as I would like to encourage using booking.com in Egypt. It's a safe and easy website/App to use. The challet is within a resort called palmera elsokhna. The resort consists of a hotel carries the same name and the hotel is surrounded by challets. The resort has a direct access to the sea. There are many swiming pools there as well. The beach is just 5 mins walk from the challet within the resort itself. You can get the exact location by typing palmera beach hotel in google map. It seems to be a new area, so there are still roadwork nearby. The advantages: - the owners are so lovely and helpful. I 'd like to thank Mr Ahmed Hassan and Mr Fady for their kindness. The owners are also keen to improve their service, so feel free to give them some advice. They did not ask us to pay the deposit which was a nice gesture. - The beach is Lovely, sandy and not crowded at all. Water was clean. - Safe and secure resort. - fully equipped challet. - reasonable price for quality.
