“Relaxing place, perfect to recharge your batteries with lovely hosts”

The owners were really lovely, great hosts. Breakfast was delicious and something to look forward to and we enjoyed the music playing and views from the breakfast room. The evening tapas tray was really great and good portions, we loved it. They noticed it was my birthday and this was really sweet. Peaceful by the pool in the daytime and in the garden areas, we loved the planting and quirky touches in the gardens it was really well done and beautiful. We would definately stay here again if we were in the Alicante region.

Our stay at Finca El Otero was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived Peter & Ernest were so helpful and friendly, Great hosts and very welcoming. Breakfast was one of the highlights for me & also the evening meals were fantastic, all made by Peter in house and we was never disappointed. We booked for 3 nights and was lucky enough to extend our stay for another 3 without issues. The grounds/gardens are beautiful with the views from the rooms over-looking the mountains and ocean, the location is a little remote and a rental car is beneficial if wanting to visit nearby towns & attractions. Ideal stay for cycling, walking or total relaxation. The town Aiguel (5 min walk) is quaint with a traditional feel and general amenities if needed. We had such an amazing time. Ernest & Peter made us feel very much at home during our stay and was happy to help us with recommendations and directions. We will look forward to visiting again.

Peter and Ernest are wonderful welcoming hosts in this memorable and unique place. Peter's cooking is amazing, his dishes are all delicious, tasty, fresh and beautifully presented. We enjoyed all 3 of our evenings here, we were so glad that we opted to have a 3-course dinner each night, sat cozily near to the log fire (it was January!). The breakfasts are amazing too, different each day, and served in the sunshine overlooking mountains and sea. The property is quiet and relaxing, very tastefully furnished, lots of nice places to sit and enjoy the peace and the amazing outlook. We loved the thoughtfully designed garden, and of course the cats!

Beautiful place to stay! It was so peaceful and quiet with an amazing view. Peter and Ernest are very friendly and always available to help. The breakfast was perfect, you will not want to miss it! The room has everything needed, spacious, clean and comfort. I highly recommend this place!

We had a very pleasant stay here. We arrived late in the evening and were very welcomed by Peter and Ernesto. Very good breakfast in the morning and the diner was absolutely perfect! Nice location and a very good room with a beautifull view.

Ernest and Peter are amazing hosts, they really want you to enjoy your stay. The breakfast and dinner are recommended. The view is great, the village is calme. We got many recommendations from Peter. Still only 25 mins from Alicante (car).

“An Absolute Gem!”

Ernest and Peter were the absolute loveliest hosts. They made our stay an incredibly enjoyable and pleasant one. They made us feel welcomed and at home from the moment we arrived and were so helpful and attentive throughout. They sent lots of suggestions via WhatsApp of things to see and do, including giving us a few gems of food recommendations too! We even bumped into the in town one night at dinner. Rather than feeling like they wanted to be left alone, they came over and chatted with us recommending a few tapas dishes to try. The breakfasts each day were such a treat! We loved the variety, freshness and creativity of each course (yes, there were multiple courses at each breakfast, including freshly baked desserts - carrot cake for breakfast…yum!!) We also enjoyed a delicious dinner with our amazing hosts and their other guests. At first we weren’t sure we would have dinner there as they had family visiting and we didn’t want to intrude on their special time together, but we’re so glad we joined them. Dinner was outstanding and the company was exceptional! If there is any doubt about staying here please don’t hesitate- you will not regret it! We had many many a laugh with Peter and Ernest and look forward to returning again! We would highly recommend this wonderful peace of heaven!

Breakfast and dinner in Finca el Otero are at best gourmet level and better than what you can get in world's best hotels (honestly, test if you don't believe me). You can sit inside, on their terrace and they have tables in their garden as well so that you have privacy and can enjoy mountain and sea views when you are eating. Peter and Ernest are running the place together and they provide you with 10/10 customer experience all the time, you feel more as their friend at their home rather than guest in a hotel. Rooms, safe parking and pool are nice as well :)

Amazing food from morning to dinner. Never tasted anything like to food we enjoyed during our stay. Views to the mountains and sea were beautiful and the owners of the Finca were super friendly and nice.

This is a wonderful place to stay-a beautiful pool, gardens, truly outstanding breakfast ( one of the most delicious we have ever eaten) and accommodating hosts. The stunning views and attention to detail including the immaculately clean rooms are second to none. I would highly recommend this beautiful place to anyone.
