“A quiet oasis away from, but also close to the north coast of Spain”
It is in a very quiet location, just the birds and the cow bells. It had been a long trip from Portugal getting there, so we stayed two nights to recover. Breakfast was freshly served and we could sit inside or out under their veranda. The restaurants are mainly in Zarautz about 15minutes away. They typically open late in the evening, after 8pm. The first night we found a tapas type bar, which was Ok The second night we went on the owners recommendation to Telesforo, restaurant which she booked for us, and it was superb.

Very comfortable, clean room and delicious breakfast, especially the home made jam and croissants. Would thoroughly recommend this beautiful place. The host was such an amazing and kind person, courteous and welcoming, made us feel at home. The house and grounds were beautifully kept. Lovely table setting. Amazing views.

“Great place to stay if you have a car”
Beautiful place and nice, clean rooms. Thoughtful touches in the rooms. Its in the middle of nowhere so you will need a car. Also, the location is great to be one with the nature but there is nothing to do immediately outside if that is what you are looking for

“Quiet stay in traditional rural villa”
A very well kept traditional villa style house in a very quiet rural location. Very nice room, helpful host, on-site parking and good value. Located up quite a steep narrow lane, so really need your own transport to access the property.

Wonderful place in nature. The owner doesn't speak English, but communication is good in all possible ways. The room is not very big, but very comfortable. Big kitchen facility in the underground with a beautiful Terrace.
