Beautiful 15th century country manor house with lovely gardens. Welcoming host who was happy for us to check-in a couple of hours early. 10-15 minute walk to nearest village of Ahuille.

“Delightful and comfortable manor house”
The place is quite unique, an old family manor full of history. The place is confortable, very quiet, the bedroom and bathroom were refurbished and comfortable. I had quite early breakfast and the owners were happy to wake up earlier to prepare it for me.

Everything ! The owners were delightful, the garden and house were beautiful and as for the tapestries that have been created over decades … they are truly incredible! Oh yes, and the stunning wooden staircase as you enter ….

“Very atmospheric”
It's a very atmospheric old country house. Easy to find with satnav. The hostess gave me a portion of her family's evening meal (lasagne), with some salad and a dessert, and a bottle of cider, for 20 euros.

“A perfect place for Channel Island visitors to spend a first night, when travelling across France.”
The location was just what I like - understated, seemly and the building interesting, especially the C17 staircase. The evening meal was all right, but the breakfast was a little basic, though perfectly good if one hadn't been spoilt in various other chambres-d'hôtes.

Little far away, but a fantastic historical house with great garden and really nice owners; a delicious breakfast; we enjoyed the atmosphere of the place; a peaceful place
