“Beautiful house in the countryside for a perfect couple or family getaway”
It's a beautiful, old (but perfectly renovated) well maintained house in the very edge of a small village. It's all nature around (plus a few stork nests in the villages nearby) and we enjoyed the quietness very much. We cooked breakfasts and dinners and enjoyed eating inside or outside right by the house. The house is quite big, having 2 bedrooms and a bid living room. For Avgeeks there's a bonus - lots of planes pass above on long-haul routes. It's amazing to see all those A380s above (don't worry, it doesn't harm the quietness). The owners live in the other house, so it's always easy to get assistance. They are very nice and hold a good conversation (only German). Their daughter does speak English and was always available for me for "remote support". She also helped a lot with trip-tips around Ahlbeck. We rented out bikes from the owners and had a nice time around the village. We charged our e-car via a home socket connecting it through the window. Since the car parked right by the window, there was even no need for an extension cord (charging was for a fee). Except for the bed causing me a backache (see below), the experience was really wonderful overall.
