Clean and comfortable room with a big bed. Pool was a plus. Generally quiet and relaxed accommodation, so if you need some peace and quiet I would recommend it

Great place far away from the busy Ahangama streets. Right next to great family restaurant. My room was located on the ground floor right next to the pool so I was unable to open the curtains but it just made the room a bit cooler. Room has both AC and fan. Specious space with very comfy bed and a lot of storage space.

It‘s a beautiful location with a garden and a nice swimming pool. Also the beach and some nice places (e.g. Kaffi) are only a short walking distance away. And the staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay here again!

“Lovely place to be”

Lovely cozy place with a homy atmosphere. Very close to ahangama town. Breakfast was great and in really good portions. Koggala boat safari was great too. Pool was in good condition and clean rooms. Many thanks to the team for excellent service.

Quiet and a great atmosphere to relax, everything was clean and well maintained. Staff were very welcoming and available to help.

“A little oasis just back from the beach”

We loved the corner upstairs room looking out into the trees. Just a short walk through mostly shaded quiet back streets down to the main road and a beautiful little bay to swim in and some local food options. After a day out surfing and exploring it was a welcome return to the accommodation with a refreshing swim in the lovely pool in such a relaxing setting. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating.

“Exceptional staff”

Lovely staff which is very friendly and helpfull. Couldn't wish any better. The place is clean and well maintained and fairly close to a lot of nice places to have diner. Wouldn't recommend laundry here, it's done by a different company and it's pretty expensive.

We loved our stay here. The staff were the highlight, they were so friendly and sorted out a bike for us and organised a tour to Udawalawe. The breakfast and dinner they cooked us was delicious. The property is in a beautiful quiet location. Our room was serviced everyday and the property was very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing time at Villa Fauna. The villa was incredibly comfortable and beautiful, quiet and completely surrounded by greenery. The staff was super nice and took very good care of us. Every morning we had a delicious breakfast and could easily rent a scooter through them. Thanks for the great stay, we will definitely be back!

“Comfy rooms with beautiful pool and garden in PERFECT Ahangama location”

Perfectly located on the best side of Ahangama, 5-10 minute walk from beach and restaurants but tucked down quiet side street so you feel very secluded. Beautiful garden and pool with lots of wildlife (monkeys, lizards, bats, even saw a snake). Lovely friendly and helpful staff. We didn't eat there because there is just so much to choose from in Ahangama but food sounded good. There's a fridge of beers and soft drinks for self service which was handy.

“A home away from home in Ahangama”

This was my third time staying at Villa Fauna and it never fails to feel like a home away from home. The staff are amazing and friendly, the pool is pristine, the rooms are kept immaculate and serviced daily, and it’s in the perfect location- easy walk to the Main Street but far away enough that it’s a peaceful oasis in the trees.
