The place is really beautiful. We loved the garden with the gorgeous pool. The rooms are stylish and immaculately clean. Janaka is so kind, welcoming and helpful. All the staff are fantastic, thoughtful and always smiling. The breakfast is delicious, with fresh fruits, eggs and good coffee. Fresh coconut water is also offered throughout the day.

So grateful we chose this property for our first stay in Sri Lanka. Janaka went above and beyond to ensure we had a good time here. The stay is beautiful, accessibility is also good. People here are very sweet. Go for it blindly

“A dream destination”

Absolutely amazing place to come for our honeymoon for 6 nights. We were pleased to meet Janaka who was available to help us from start to finish, making our stay very tailored to our needs! Very quiet area off the main strip, just a 10 minute tuktuk drive away. You can hear the birds chirping in the morning and even see some monkeys nearby, which kept a safe distance. Pool was a dream to be in, and breakfast was great. I preferred the quietness of Ahangama beach to the others as well

“Calm, quiet and very stylish”

What a wonderful place! We stayed for five days and are already looking forward to returning for a few more days in two weeks. The rooms are very spacious and stylishly furnished. Since the hotel only has four rooms, you almost feel like you have the huge grounds to yourself, which are perfect for meditation or yoga. We also enjoyed some very professional massages. As is often the case in Sri Lanka, it was the staff who made our stay so special; they were incredibly friendly and fulfilled all our wishes! For example, we were given a freshly prepared breakfast tailored especially for us. The absolute highlight for all sports enthusiasts and water lovers is the 25-meter pool! It not only provides a refreshing dip but is also perfect for swimming laps! Many thanks to everyone who made our stay so special. We're looking forward to coming back in two weeks!

We could not recommend Uyana more! The hotel, room and outdoor area with pool and garden is beautifully designed, and feels like a modern oasis in Ahangama. The breakfast is delicious, with fresh fruits, eggs and good coffee. Cold water and fresh coconut water is also offered throughout the day. However, the best part of our stay was the communication, hospitality and attentiveness of Janaka and the team. They offered us to stay past check out, organised transport and tuk tuks, and made sure our stay was amazing. Thank you so much! We would love to come back again!

Amazing hotel which is a short Tuk tuk ride from the centre. Janaka the resident manager is exceptional and catered for every requirement and went well above and beyond during our stay!

Incredible hospitality, beautiful gardens for wildlife watching. And of course the 25meter pool for swimming.

My stay was absolutely delightful. The room was spacious and beautifully designed, and the whole place felt peaceful and lovingly created. The garden is a calm little oasis in the middle of the jungle. From the very first moment, it was incredibly easy to switch off and feel completely taken care of. A big part of that feeling came from Janaka, the perfect host, who does everything to make every guest feel welcome. Thank you so much! The whole team is kind and attentive, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. I left with a full heart and would return any time.

“Fantastic stay!”

The staff are fantastic! The breakfast is fresh fruit followed by 1 other dish (which changes daily), tea/ coffee/ water. The pool is great for laps if you feel like exercising. It's a small hotel with just 4 rooms so it feels very exclusive. It's quiet, they can arrange a masseuse to come to the hotel, they can arrange bike hire, airport shuttle etc, nothing is too much trouble.

“Genuine natural tranquility and luxury with outstanding service.”

To be concise, Uyana is the best place we have stayed in Sri Lanka. A clean, modern, spacious property set in beautiful gardens with a pool far-larger than typically seen for this type of place (<5 rooms). The room was enormous, stylish, and spotlessly clean. The manager, Janaka, was always on hand to help with arranging activities, transport, or anything else that we needed. The breakfast was delicious and complimentary coffee and coconut water were available throughout the day. Even after only two nights we felt thoroughly relaxed and well cared-for. The Ocean, and a number of high-quality restaurants are a short drive away in Ahangama. The distance from the town gives the benefit of tranquility.

It was one of the most peaceful surroundings, kindest staff and even the food was brilliant. Rooms were huge, the pool is massive but the garden area was the best part of the property. 10/10 anyday.
