Unfortunately it is an unsafe place, my wife got severe head injury and lacerations, she had several stitches. It all happened after we have visited the roof ( their employee recommended us to go there), when going down the stairs she grabbed the chain for support and a piece of concrete fell on her head from the roof! The funniest thing - hotel management blamed us for what happened from the beginning. Cannot recommend! (Trying third time to attach some photos).

“Peaceful luxury in a calm and beautiful paradise”

Beautifully set besides Lake Koggala, with well-maintained gardens and grounds. This is a real respite for calm and relaxation away from the busy coastal road. Our room with private plunge pool was a real sanctuary to unwind. Nice tasteful design of mid-century Tropicana throughout the hotel (it looks better than the photos here, with some areas clearly being recently renovated). Clean throughout and well maintained. As always, it’s the people who make travel what it is and the staff at the hotel, during our visit, was impeccable. The management team as well as all the bar & restaurant staff were all super friendly and attentive (shout out in particular to Jayantha and Sandun), making our visit feel special.

Breakfast was amazing with good menu, well cooked and beautifully presented.

This was one of the most amazing hotels I have ever stayed at. We stayed as part of our honeymoon and everything exceeded our expectations. If you are looking for a quiet and luxurious getaway, this is your place. The staff, amenities, villas, and food are all 10/10. Can’t wait to come back again and want to the thank the entire staff for making our stay so memorable. I highly recommend!

“Peaceful, amazing setting once there!”

Wonderful setting once the journey to the location is finished. Lovely gardens and pool area. So much potential to be a fabulous place, which with new owners should be achievable. Food is great and good value. Staff are trying so hard to deliver good service but need some training and more resources. Very peaceful! The response I received from CEO was genuine and acknowledged by fair feedback. This was much appreciated.

This beautiful tranquil environment was a highlight of our trip. We loved being surrounded by nature. Meals were exceptional and staff very friendly & accommodating. Sunrise from the water tower was amazing and the library a lovely, tranquil place to retreat to. The infinity pool was also a highlight. Rooms are generous in size and the cinnamon scented bathroom products were gorgeous. Personal pool for the room was also appreciated.

“Beautiful location”

Stunning room, clean modern design and spacious bathroom. The staff were great and very helpful. A great place for bird watchers. Unfortunately I couldn't go on a boat trip because it was raining...but hopefully next time...

We spent 2 nights on this stunning location and eco lodge. The site is placed in the middle of nature, surrounded by a lake and a perfect vibe. Staff was incredible, very kind and professional. Food was delicious, the quality was really high. We took the villa with private swimming pool, that was a true gem and made our experience perfect. Really recommend to book this type of accomodation.

It was so calm and peaceful and serene. The manager was very helpful and staff were attentive and responsive.

The setting is peaceful and scenic. The library was a lovely surprise with a good collection of books. We enjoyed spotting wildlife around the grounds. Some moments were genuinely relaxing.

Currently writing this review from Tri's gorgeous library as we wait for our lift to the airport and could not be sadder to be leaving! This was the final destination on our 2-week Sri Lankan honeymoon and was booked last minute after we decided against our original hotel due to some concerning reviews. We are SO glad to have ended up at Tri. It is a pure paradise with exceptional staff, stunning rooms, beautiful grounds and delicious food. We loved the focus on sustainability and integration with nature - there are no plastic bottles or TVs in the rooms here! Our entire stay has been a dream; full of beautiful scenery, luxurious massages, and delicious food, and has ensured we will be (reluctantly) returning home relaxed and rejuvenated. We cannot wait to stay here again in the future!!!

The hotel was simply amazing! The view was breathtaking and provided a sense of peace and tranquility. The service was excellent, the staff was friendly and professional, always available to assist with any request. The cleanliness was impeccable, every corner of the hotel was well-maintained and tidy. The location is perfect – quiet and secluded, exactly what we needed to relax and escape. Additionally, the hotel's restaurant was outstanding – the food was delicious, and we enjoyed every meal. A wonderful experience that makes us want to come back again!
