If you want a secluded and private sanctuary away from the busy parts of Ahangama, then this is the place! Coupled with amazingly friendly staff, beautiful views, fantastic amenities, and a delicious food on site, this was the perfect end to our tour of Sri Lanka! From the moment we stepped inside we knew we were well taken care of, and nothing was too much for Kasun and the staff! Highly recommend spending at least a few nights here to completely relax and unwind.

Besides the obviously unique location and design, I have to point out probably the best cuisine we've had on the island for lunch or dinner options. The concept is centered around ecological values which is admirable for such an environment as Sri Lanka. The staff was very polite, mindful, kind and caring. Be mindful that it's on a hill and taller than its surroundings so if there are strong winds, they will be felt more on this property.

The Sri Lankan curry was excellent. Probably the best I have eaten in Sri Lanka. It is a beautifully designed and decorated hotel.

An exceptional place, an incredibly beautiful house in an amazing location. You truly feel like you’re a guest in an architect’s house. There are only 4 rooms on the round house. The luxury is in simplicity, beautiful materials, perfect service, delicious food. The staff is kind, discreet and helpful. We stayed there for 3 days for our honeymoon. The roundhouse is just a 10 minutes tuktuk drive away from Ahangama, which is very convenient for a dinner in town or a coffee by the beach.

Absolutely stunning property, with amazing views over the cinnamon and green forests. Rooms are able to be fully opened nature. Delicious food and staff were ao lovely and accomodating, wish we could have stayed longer!

“A very special experience in a gorgeous property”

This is a very special place. I don’t think the photos would ever do it justice. There’s a sense of serenity and calm that takes over you as soon as you arrive. The architecture is a work of art, everything from the decor to the landscape design to the gorgeous art collection, is absolutely perfect. It feels like you’re in a remote wellness retreat, but in reality you’re only 10-15 min from the beach and the Main Street with lots of cafes and stores. The food, cooked fresh daily on demand with fresh ingredients, was exquisite. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were here during off season and were so lucky to be the only guests on the property, so it really felt very very special.

This hotel is so amazing, its built beautifully and is one of a kind. You're right up on the hill and its very peaceful and quiet, feels like you're at your own little excluded hideaway. The staff are fantastic, everyone is so helpful and the food is 10 out of 10. Try the Crispy Barramundi, yum!

Everything - staying here was living in paradise. - Only a 10 min tuktuk ride to the town. It was far enough to get the tranquility and quiet I wanted, but close enough that I could get an iced coffee and return with it still icy. - The views! Sunrise, sunset, stars at night. Beautiful jungle and rice paddies. Excellent bird-watching. - The property was beautifully designed and the furniture well-crafted. Read more about this on their social media and website. - The team were friendly, accommodating, kind and efficient. The service was excellent and anything we asked for executed to a high quality. - The on-site dining was beyond wonderful. I regret not asking to observe the kitchen one meal! Perhaps a chef's table experience may be something they could consider offering in the future... - The owners were very interesting and a delight to talk to. - The pool was the perfect temperature and length. It was very usable and we spent many an hour enjoying the sun and water. - The garden walk was good fun to spot some wildlife and learn a bit more about local flora. There are plenty of birds and if you're curious, there's a bird watching book in the lounge. - The lounge was a beautiful airy gathering space. I like the stereo system and small library of literature about Sri Lanka. If only I had read some of the books before visiting! Really piqued my interest to learn more. I'm sure there is so much more, but for now this is all I can think of writing.

It’s hard to put into words what the experience at this place is like. Five stars aren’t enough to rate this little piece of heaven. From the lovely staff who ensure everything is perfect to the beautiful, state-of-the-art house that feels you’re in another world, it’s truly unforgettable. Surrounded by the sounds of birds and nature, this is the ultimate retreat to disconnect and recharge while in Sri Lanka. Thank you for the amazing days we spent here; this was, without a doubt, the most incredible place I’ve ever stayed.
