“Just perfect”

We love this place. We stayed just one night, but we were surprised of the beauty of this Villa. Its a nice place to relax and have a wonderful time. The communication with the owner was fantastic. We were communicating during what's up. We had a n early check in and breakfast very early. But it was not a problem for them. I was just pleased of the services. besides, we ordered lunch in Villa, the food was fantastic. I think it was one of the best traditional food in Sri Lanka (we had rice and curry with chicken/prawns). It's not far away from the beach, you can take a tuk tuk and go to the beach, or to have dinner on the beach. I would recommend for everybody to stay in this Villa!

The location was really stunning, tucked away in beautiful gardens. A little out of town, but there are plenty of tuk tuks to take you the 15 minute journey, and the ride is really beautiful - we saw monkeys and peacocks on the way!

“We enjoyed a peaceful and comfortable gateway at Villa Sukomala.”

We were looking for a small private villa to unwind and Villa Sukomala matched up to our expectations splendidly. The villa is located close to the highway so travel to and from the location is convenient and it also makes it accessible for stopovers at Galle. The villa itself is situated in a secluded area and surrounded by a well maintained garden. Its internal and external spaces has tastefully incorporated traditional Sri Lankan architecture. We received an exuberant welcome from Marie, the inhouse doggo. The staff were friendly and attentive. We also enjoyed home cooked flavours offered by the Sri Lankan cuisine in particular. Nobody was able to resist the private pool including my 80+ year old mother who ventured in for a dip. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

Sukomala is a hidden gem situated in a Sri Lankan village. We experienced amazing flora and fauna at the beautiful tropical garden! When you arrive at this villa it feels like you do not want to leave. The staff was great helped us out in every possible way! And the Sri Lankan breakfast was so scrumptious and filling plus we got a lovely plate of tropical fruits in the morning. Architecture of the villa is carefully planned that gives such a pleasant local feel, very tastefully designed interiors with cozy beds. The pool side was so nice in the night. We will definitely recommend Sukomala villa to anyone who would want to experience true Sri Lankan hospitality!

“4nts of bliss. Stunning house and just superb decor and felt like home”

Absolutely everything. We felt like we’d arrived to a house of an interior design magazine. The guys were incredible, outstanding breakfasts and evening meals. Marie the dog was just super chilled and loved a belly rub Great location. 20min walk to a nearby village and we saw a wedding festival being prepared with elephants too!! You absolutely gotta stay here

“Absolutely magical and breathtaking”

Absolutely beautiful villa with everything you need. The staff were so helpful and lovely. On arrival they greeted us with coconut juice and served us the most amazing breakfast every morning. They helped up book taxis/tuk tuks and even collected our pizza order as it was too far to be delivered. The villa garden was beautiful, there was so much space to relax and the pool was great. We spotted a few monkeys in the trees too which was amazing! Honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough!
