“Highly recommend”

The pool, the bathroom, the room it's self, the caretaker was super nice made us feel very welcome, great communication, I liked the location a lot, quiet but only a 5 mins drive to restaurants and shops.

Lovely quiet oasis away from the noise of the town. The staff were lovely and very helpful (especially when we needed help fixing our scooter). Delicious breakfast and bottled water included, along with a great outdoor shower and pool area.

“Tranquil paradise”

Peaceful hotel tucked away from Ahangama hustle and bustle. The rooms are very spacious and well maintained, as well as the pool area. Rooms are cleaned daily and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast and coffee included each day. We love Stuthi Villa and have returned multiple times!

Location is great, away from the noise of the centre of the village. 20 minutes walk from the beach Very nicely decorated and there is a lot of space around to relax. Garden is beautiful and very well kept. Loved decent size and clean swimming pool, with enough loungers for everyone. Our room was a good size and spotlesly clean. Staff we met were all lovely and helpful people, they offered us a delicious homemade fresh juices and cups of tea on several occasions. They also helped us to find a tuktuk driver which I ended up using for 3 days we qere there. As there is no mini fridge in the room, they kept our beer cold for us too! There is a choice of Sri Lankan or western breakfast, we endeyup having Sri Lankan one as it was delicious. Overall 11/10, thanks for having us and hopefully we'll get a chance to come back!

“The perfect stay!”

If you're looking for a peaceful stay whilst also within walking distance to liveliness of Ahangama then this is the perfect place. The staff were lovely & the Sri Lankan breakfast was one of the best we had on our trip. Pool is stunning and lots of loungers. It's surrounded in wildlife and we spotted Mongoose, monkeys, bats and birds. Room was comfortable and very clean.

“Nice and calm stay”

Really nice and helpful staff, it was kind they bring you tea or coffee during the day. Delicious omlettes for breakfast. Everything was clean and the garden was wondeful. Location is perfect - far enough from busy and noisy city centre but still close to walk (20min to the beach).

The room and bathroom were both beautiful and very clean, with well-functioning air conditioning. The pool area was lovely, the staff were kind and welcoming, and the service was excellent. Breakfast was also very good. As a solo female traveler, I felt 100% safe throughout my stay. There is a bit of walking distance or a short tuk-tuk ride needed to reach restaurants and the beach, but it is worth it for the peace and quiet.

Beautiful, peaceful place with everything we needed. Lovely clean pool, room was very comfortable and stylish. The staff were super friendly and constantly making efforts to keep the place nice. Delicious and big breakfast with plenty of choice. Also, wifi and aircon worked perfectly.

Beautiful oasis of peace outside of Ahangama busy city. Well maintained, Asanka was super helpful and even got a birthday cake for us. Also rented scooter via the hotel.

The location is beautiful but offbeat. Everything is far . Asanka is the only thing good about the property.

It’s a beautiful property with very nice touches and a traditional rustic design yet very chic and unique. The room was very spacious and clean. The pool was lovely. We loved our breakfast every morning and the staff were amazing. We definitely recommend it.

The location was perfect. An oasis of tranquillity. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the bathroom, well it was stunning! The Sri Lankan breakfast was yummy! “Calm and relaxing place”

Stuthi Villa is located in a calm area and with the nice pool a place to slow down and relax. The rooms were very well equipped and positively special was the openair bathroom. The hosts were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was local food and also very tasty. All in all, a nice accomodation to stay!

We were two families with kids, booked all the rooms of the house. Had a great time.

Was a very beautiful and peaceful location. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really nice too.

Asanka and the team taking care of the villa are always ready to greet with a warm smile. The room was clean and loved the outdoor shower we had in our room which was so relaxing and beautiful. There is a hot/cold water dispenser in the dining area and tea and coffee was made available whenever we wanted one. We asked if a tuktuk could be arranged for us to head out for dinner and it was arranged. When we returned from the dinner the night shift caretaker was waiting for us and greeted us with big smiles. The highlight of our stay would probably be the breakfast that Asanka arranged, I requested a Srilankan breakfast with a little bit of every variety, he did not disappoint.Thank you Asanka and team and Stephane for running such a beautiful place.

The place is super quiet. You get to see monkeys jumping around in the trees. The staff is super nice as well and they do their best to help you around ! The breakfast is really good (either western or SriLankan. Must tell the owner the day before)

“Beautiful calm place to stay”

We really enjoyed our stay in the villa, the area is calm and beautiful with jungle vibe, some wild (not dangerous) animals. Sunbathing and swimming in the pool was also very relaxing. The room was not big but comfortable and the outdoor bathroom was unusual but beautifully made. As described, the villa is located not too close to the main streets and the beach so expect some walking if tuk tuk rides. The stuff is friendly and can make coffee/tea on request. The room gets cleaned if you ask in the morning. There’s also a fresh bread bakery not too far (Rollingpin) which can be visited for lunch and small take aways.
