The separate bungalows that open out to the pool were excellent and the hotel was set in a quiet location but easily accessible to the town, restaurants and the beach.

The restaurant serves exceptional food of outstanding quality; I would strongly recommend dining here even for those who are not staying at the resort. Additionally, the staff are remarkably friendly, attentive, and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant experience throughout the stay. I will certainly choose to stay here again on my next visit to Sri Lanka

The best stay we had in Sri Lanka! Excellent, spacious rooms with great hot water. The staff is amazing, the pool is fun, and the food is delicious. Great yoga space (with morning classes) and a perfect location for surfers. Highly recommended—we didn't want to leave!

“Little oasis that needs some small improvements”

We really liked being tucked away in nature it was very jungle vibes, watching the monkeys play in the trees and the size of the hotel meant it had a laid back feel. The breakfast was really yummy and well presented and the staff were always super friendly especially with our little boy

At first glance, the place makes a very good impression, it’s stylish, well-designed, and clearly marketed effectively. However, of all the hotels and resorts we stayed at during our three-week trip, this was the most expensive while offering the lowest overall quality. It gave us the feeling that maximizing profit was the main priority, rather than delivering real value to guests.

We had such a wonderful stay at Panta Rei; the staff are incredible, the food is amazing and the rooms and facilities are spotlessly clean and so comfortable. This was our first trip away with our 10 month old and the team made it so easy and relaxed for us, the space was perfect for us to chill in and the location allowed us to slowly explore some of the surrounding area. Thank you so much - we will definitely be back!

“Amazing place, definitely recommend it”

Hotel is located in a beautiful area, far from the main road and about a 10-minute walk from Kabalana Beach. Houses are stylishly decorated and very clean. It also has a very nice swimming pool and yoga area available all day for guests with mats and accessories. The entire hotel is run in a thoughtful manner, and the staff is very welcoming. The a’la carte breakfasts are a huge plus, lasting until 12:00, so you never have to rush. It could only be served a little earlier than 8:30 if you have early morning activities planned. The delicious fresh, cold coconuts are something we will never forget!

Panta Rei resort was a wonderful place to stay. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. It has a very nice swimming pool and the overall atmosphere is just great. The houses you stay in are spacious and beautifully decorated. We thought the food and drinks here were absolutely fantastic: lots of choice with lots of fresh fruit and vegetables. We were very pleasantly surprised by this.
