This is the best place to stay around Ahangama and Midigama. Away from the main road and a short walk to a tranquil blissful stay here at My Paradise. Amazing hospitality and a very comfortable room with a hot shower and great pressure. Close to some of the surf breaks here so ideal walking distance without needing a scooter or tuk tuk- with a short stroll accompanied by some beautiful scenery and wildlife. Quite a few yoga shalas nearby too but if you have your own mat it’s also a beautiful place for a practice. I highly recommend staying here in Sri Lanka and will come back here again.

We had an amazing 2 days in My Paradise. This was all thanks to the wonderful hospitality and warmth of Tata and Hassan. They have a beautiful piece of paradise close to the main attractions. We were welcomed with a delicious Iranean drink and Tata and Hassan did everything to help and accommodate us. Their food is unique and delicious and we spent New Years Eve together at the water front. Thanks so much for all your help!

What an amazing location, away from the tourist hordes but close enough to the action. A gorgeous lagoon, and the loveliest hosts who include you in meals (the Persian food will blow your mind), drinks and plenty of greats chats. Or sit on the jetty, and look out into space. Shanti Shanti. Best place I have stayed in 2 x 1 month trips to Sri Lanka, years apart. It is a shame you always find the best places at the end of your trip. Hassan and Tata are the most consummate hosts. 20 Stars, out of 5!

First of all...the location is definitely heaven 😍....charming Resort with an exceptional lake...the pure experience of living in the middle of nature...Hasaan and Tata were super kind and caring hosts...Cabanas were well equipped and so so clean...delicious tropical breakfast and evening gathering to have Ceylon tea. Tata (hostess), Dillan (local and tuk tuk driver) and team provide the most hospitable service! No ask is a problem and they just want you to have the best time. Small touches like farewell rituals and incredible breakfasts made the stay so special. Thank you very much! Easy 10 min walk to main front and easy scooter / tuktuk to main town of Ahangama in 5 mins.

Amazing deck on the private lake , different nature with a lot of birds that lives around the lake, clean and nice so dilnte room with nice view to the lake especially delicious luxury breakfast looking five stars hotel served on the lake also they have diferent homcooke food & healthy for vegan ,seafood & meat such as beef you can't find allwhere in the srilanka. When you are there you don't like to go for sightseeing with kind & helpfully staff and owner.

Our stay at the charming lakeside was unforgettable. The spacious, well-equipped bungalows provided every comfort, while the stunning lake views added a touch of tranquility. Tata and Hassan are the kindest sweetest hosts and they do their very best to make you feel completely at home. We felt incredibly welcome at our stay at My paradise and were regularly offered drinks and anything that could make us a little bit more comfortable. We had a masseuse come to the house and Tata kindly played calming music and set up the space with incense and tea. I felt very well taken care of : ) The breakfast was delicious and very generous. It was so nice to try some some beautiful Persian foods such as the dates with tahini and walnuts and coconut cream and the special peanuts. The space itself is gorgeous with the view onto the lake and you can completely relax and watch the various birds and monkeys explore the landscape. I couldn't recommend this stay more. “I will miss the chanting of birds, the beauty of sunrise, and moonlight, and the cute fireflies”

They have chosen the best name, My Paradise. I am vegan and Mr Hasan always had nice options of food for me. The room had big glass door so while staying in room enjoying the comfort of air conditioner we could look at the beautiful view of the garden. The cleanliness was comparable with best hotels I have been in Europe and Japan. The hosts kindly provided drinking water for guests so we could fill up our bottles. Finding a place like this is rare in Sri Lanka. I recommend My Paradise to anyone who has high expectations of a guest house.

We stayed in my Paradise and enjoyed peaceful logon, great hospitality and delicious food. The Owners are very friendly, always available for help and suggestions, have access to great drivers that picked us up from airport with very reasonable rate, also access to very polite and careful Tuk-Tuk drivers. Trip was one of the most memorable trip we had, thanks to My Paradise team. 😊

“Shade and Shine”

Of course, you don't have to be a poet to write a review of a place you've stayed, but here is full of lovely, poetic imagery, making it difficult to write. Sitting on the wooden deck under the moonlight and watching the palm trees sing. Seeing people from every culture happily spend their days and nights in dance, light and excitement. All this is color and poetry... A very quiet place for those who want to spend their time in peace. The rooms are clean and well equipped for a pleasant stay - even a long one. The food menu is diverse and suitable for every taste, starting with delicate breakfasts and continuing with colorful and cool drinks until lunch. But the final surprise is the kebab, which is full of magical flavors of seafood, meat, chicken and vegetables combined. Anyway, here is a piece of paradise where the shadow, the sun and the ocean hug each other...

“Tranquil setting by the lagoon with amazing food and hosts”

The property was in a lovely quiet location, but also very near to the beach and restaurants etc. The lagoon out the front was beautiful. The food was exceptional and everyday we had breakfast it was slightly different. The owners of the property were very hospitable and always went the extra mile to make our stay so wonderful. We would definitely return here in the future.

Nice & very helpful staffs Ms.Janki Mr Romesh and Mr Pasindu all the time help us .the property has kind couple owner . Great location for adults such as me 76 years old beside nice lake and peacefully garden .the Cabana jus had 1 stair and all the place surface is flat and slope.

“The best place you can find in Sri Lanka”

The place comprises a few huts beautifully located in a bay amidst lavish greenery. The huts were very clean and had everything we needed to stay comfortably for 12 days. Bathroom was good and clean with hot water. A/C and fan were working properly, rescuing us from the Sri Lankan heat. Estate is top-notch. They have a cute pier with a view on the bay and jungle. There are lots of animals lurking around. We spotted lots of mongooses and squirrels and iguanas. Nothing dangerous but cute. The hosts were fantastically nice and friendly. Perhaps the best hosts I have happened to have while travelling. On top of this accommodation, they also run a Persian food joint in central Ahangama called Food Paradise. You can get all of their food without leaving the premises. Also, some of the most delicious food we‘ve had in Sri Lanka — Persian food, though, not Sri Lankan. We had an excellent time at My Paradise and if ever come back to Sri Lanka, that‘s definitely a place where we want to stay.
