We stayed 3 months with Kurulu Chandima reween and ayuli ♥️ if you are reading this right now, you are very lucky because you just found a place that feels like home! 🏡 I’m pretty sure they have the best garden in midigama. Chandima takes care of it like it’s her third child🌴🌺 Leguan, Peacocks, Monguls, birds, squirrel and monkeys are coming everyday to say hello 😊 the rooms are super clean!! And get cleaned every week. 🧹 they are offering delicious food 🥘 (our personal favs are rice & curry AND grilled chicken) Kurulu is always helping with anything you need! We can highly recommend to stay at midigama inn 😊

“Quiet Stay with a Nice Garden and Friendly Hosts”

The room looks exactly like it does in the pictures. The property has a huge garden with all kinds of animals wandering around - such a peaceful place! It’s away from the noise of the train lines and main streets, yet still just a few minutes away. The neighborhood feels very safe - I always felt comfortable walking alone after dark. The hosts are wonderful, a very kind family who help with anything you might need to make your stay comfortable and hassle-free.

Beautiful homestay, the room was spotless and Kurulu and his family were the loveliest people. The food was absolutely delicious, big portions and really good value. Great location, tucked away from the busy tourist area but close enough to walk everywhere. Can also visit weligama and Ahangama very easily by 5 mins bus or tuktuk.

chandima and kurulu created a very beautiful space where you feel like home. it’s very clean, tidy and has everything you need. confortable bed, mosquito net and the best food we had so far in sri lanka, directly on your terrasse. if you need something, kurulu will help you organize it. for example a scooter delivered on you‘re doorstep. we will surely come again. thank you very much 🙏🏽

“Home feeling”

Everything. The room was new, tastefully made and extremely clean. Bed was comfortable, sheets were soft and the fan was more than enough to sleep without heat. The outdoors is green and always tidy. Very quiet part of the town but close to main road. But the best were the owners, a lovely family that makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. Thank you so much

“Charming stay for great value”

Nice quiet place close to the beach and some hip places like groove garden, but far enough from the busy street. A little green lush. Kurulu does everything to make your stay as comfortable as you wish. I was sick and they gave me medicine and made fresh soup. Also the coconut pancakes were delicious. WiFi worked perfectly. There were 2 other rooms with solo travellers and it was a really relaxed atmosphere. Everybody prolonged their stay. If you want to support a local family and stay in a charming green environment for a very economical price ! Look no further ! Would 💯 recommend

“Amazing stay with a family that feels like home”

I loved my time at Midigama Inn so much. The place is beautiful and very clear and well maintained. It really felt like staying with family. They are so loving and caring. I got unfortunately really sick just before my arrival and it was so sweet how caring they were. I even received a steam bath and hot tea :) It was a home away from home for me. And I am still coming by to visit them now regularly:)

Kurulu and his Family are amazing. He can help you with anything you need. The food is super delicious. Very beautiful home and perfect location, quiet surrounded by nature but quick walk to the beach and restaurants.

We only stayed 1 night, however really enjoyed the accomodation! The people here were so kind, and really helpful. The room itself was lovely and clean. If we ever return to Midigama we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Tucked away at the end of a small lane, some 400m from Midigama Beach, you will find peace and tranquility here. Kurulu and his amazing family will cook you the best Sri Lankan food and they will help you with everything. It was simply the best stay ever! Kurulu and his lovely family makes the stay so wonderful, they are nice and thoughtful. They also make the best food in Sri Lanka, tasty meals and very fresh ingredients too. Also the room has all the facilities that you’ll need. Is very close to a nice beach and other restaurants.

“Best Place to stay in Midigama”

I loved my stay at Midigama Inn! The location is in nature surrounded by a lot of wildlife but only a 7 minute walk from the beach and restaurants are close as well. The room itself is big, clean, looks new and comes with a little terrace in front of it. Wifi is fast and suitable for working as well and the owners are incredibly kind and welcoming. If you have the chance, try their curry, it tastes amazing!

Wow, what can I say! Kurulu and his family gave us a magical stay. We originally planned to stay for a week and ended up staying at Midigama Inn for a whole month. The rooms are very well thought out and comfortable. The food tastes fantastic, it is beautifully situated in the middle of nature and calm and yet very close to everything Midigama has to offer (restaurants, beach, surf spots, etc.) You definitely have to try the Cooking Class - Chandima & Kurulu explained to us in great detail how to create the best rice & curry! They know the area well and can help with anything. Really thank you for everything! <3
