“Favourite place in Sri Lanka!”

It’s a beautiful property on the seafront, all the staff were absolutely incredible, good facilities with fantastic chef. Will most definitely be revisiting! Thank you for such a wonderful stay and a great way to celebrate my birthday - we will see you again!

The absolute best five-star hotel we visited during our trip to Sri Lanka. So cosy and absolutely stunning, with the most beautiful sunsets we experienced on the island. We loved being able to swim both in the pool and in the ocean. Cool cafés are just a five-minute walk along the beach, which makes the location perfect. The service was truly outstanding from start to finish.

“Wonderful stay and this prime location”

Really enjoyed our 2 nights here. The room was spacious comfortable and had a great view. Nice pool and sunbeds , enough for all guests and really good options at breakfast. Staff very friendly. Clean with a good bathroom. Close to the center of the resort but far enough away to be quiet for sleep.

Small hotel with only 4 rooms. Sea views and beach access, walking distance from the town. Comfortable beds, clean, good shower and amazing sunset views.

“Don't think twice!”

The Villa - The villa is stunning. Set in the prime spot metres from the sea. The Villa is light and spacious, plenty of room for everyone. The rooms are lovely and have a great balcony for watching sunrise and sunset. Pool was fantastic and so we're the loungers. Enough for all guests. Location - fantastic location in the heart of Ahangama. Close to bars, restaurants, shops and a bank. Everything you need by foot. But the Villa set back from the road made for a peaceful and relaxed feel. The staff - they are what make this place. Lovely people who cannot do enough for you. Making drinks, multiple choices of breakfasts to evening fetching us ice creams! They really do make your stay here special and are a credit to Lihinya. Michael the owner was very helpful and welcoming, made our whole stay there feel laid back and relaxed which is exactly what we wanted. Sorted us a taxi to Colombo no problem. Overall this is a fantastic place to stay on the south coast! If a chilled out wonderful villa with the beach and sea on your doorstep is what you want them look no further! Thanks for a great stay

Oh my goodness LOVED EVERYTHING about the place adored the space, staff and owner. All sooo friendly, warm and accommodating. It was soooo beautiful and the beach was literally steps away and absolutely stunning and breathtaking.

“Unforgettable beachfront stay with wonderful staff and the soothing sound of the waves”

The breakfast was absolutely brilliant. There were three breakfast options and we tried all of them, each one was delicious, freshly prepared, and beautifully presented by the excellent staff. The location is just as special. The villa sits right on the beachfront, and falling asleep to the sound of the waves lapping outside was unforgettable. Waking up to the sea just steps away made the stay feel incredibly peaceful and special.

“Absolutely stunning! Best hotel in Ahangama!”

We had an absolutely perfect stay and couldn’t recommend Lihinya Beach Villa more highly. The ocean views from both our room and the common areas were breathtaking - waking up to the sound and sight of the ocean was amazing. The hotel has direct beach access - this stretch of beach feels secluded, like you have it all to yourself. It was also great watching the surfers from the property. There is also surf board rental just a walk away. The location is excellent - close enough to walk to restaurants and bars in Ahangama, either via the street or along the beach, yet still peaceful and quiet. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Breakfast each morning was amazing - fresh and delicious. There were both western and traditional Sri Lankan options. The cocktails by the pool were another highlight, especially the Piña Coladas made from fresh pineapple and coconut. The villa is family-owned, and the staff are all locals, which really adds to the warmth and authenticity of the experience. We mentioned to the owner, Michael, that we were celebrating our anniversary, and he and his wife went above and beyond by surprising us with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a delicious chocolate cake. It was such a thoughtful and memorable gesture. Michael was also incredibly helpful with recommendations, including suggestions for New Year’s Eve, and communication before and throughout our stay was excellent. A truly special place. We would absolutely stay here again.

“Location Location Location”

Hard to find a better location in and around the south coast. Staff were great in particular Chanaka and Denish. Great breakfasts individually cooked to your satisfaction

This is a 4 room boutique hotel where the ocean literally laps at the steps to the hotel's private outdoor area. Talk about absolute beach frontage! You can walk along the beach to local restaurants only meters away. Breakfast was a feast and the pool was luxurious. Our room was luxurious and our private balcony was a joy.

Beautiful setting in top location Exceptional staff!! Michael the owner was so warm and welcoming he and his brilliant staff always offering assistance with nothing ever being a problem . China cooks scrumptious breakfast and makes a delicious club sandwich . Would highly recommend this stay!!!
