“Beautiful place just way too expensive”

This is a stunning hostel that is super pretty! Loved the pool and the breakfast is amazing. Rooms were super clean. Staff extremely friendly!

- nice and relaxing pool area (would be nice if it would be cleaned a bit more often) - good selection of rental surfboards for a fair price - free coffee, tea, water all day is very nice and is great for relaxing at the pool - very tasty breakfast and refreshing drinks as well as reasonably priced lunch and dinner options - the lodge has a deal with local tuktuk drivers that usually wait in front of the lodge and take you around the area for fixed rates. While they might be a bit pricey it’s a good option if you go surfing as the driver waits there or picks you back up at an arranged time and also transports the boards.

I had a wonderful stay at this hostel in Kabalana. The place was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. During my stay, my flights were cancelled due to the war and I unexpectedly got stuck in Sri Lanka. The hostel was extremely understanding and kindly allowed me to extend my stay to 8 more days with a 20% discount, which I truly appreciated during a stressful time. Their warmth and support made a big difference. The hostel has a calm and relaxed atmosphere, perfect if you want to unwind and stay away from the crowds and busy city areas.

The room was modern, quiet and incredibly clean with daily servicing. The grounds were well kept with a gorgeous pool and dining area. There are hammocks, loungers and beanbags in social areas. It was a really really great place. Nutritious breakfasts and delicious smoothies!

This place felt like something inbetween a hostel and a luxurious hotel. The styling was gorgeous, the beds very comfortable, the (bath)room very spacious with lockers and personal storage space.

Everything was perfect: fantastic location near incredible beaches and surf breaks, really great and clean rooms (air conditioning, hot water, strong WiFi), amazing food with lots of variety, a wonderful pool area, plus the staff is super kind and incredibly helpful with everything

Location not perfect, but still good and some Restaurants easy to reach by foot. Clean, comfy, very nice vibe and prett good surfing lessons and teachers. Would definitely come back!

The communal areas are very comfortable and there is a great yoga exercise room. The global crew are very inclusive and friendly. Great food and very healthy choices. The pool is lovely to swim in and they have lots of lounges to hang out on.
