Champika was so kind to us, making us breakfast in the morning and sharing information about the local area and culture. He even spoke us through how to make cinnamon! “Charming local stay”

Cinnamon Paradise is an incredible local business. These are the cutest cottages right in the heart of an organic local cinnamon farm full of natural wildlife. The accommodation was perfectly clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. I enjoyed talking to the host about how he built this business from scratch, farming cinnamon, and lots of other interesting information about Sri Lanka. I'd absolutely recommend this for a stay in Ahangama that supports local Sri Lankan entrepreneurship and care for nature.

Beautiful place and beautiful people! Cinnamon Paradise was the perfect start to our holiday! Truly a perfect stay. Champi was the most fantastic host, he went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We enjoyed homemade breakfasts every morning with great conversation and local tips. The quiet location is refreshing, away from the busy town centre - but it’s still possible to walk there or to the local beaches. Surrounded by nature, our room was private and peaceful - we especially enjoyed the outdoor shower, and reading our books on the terrace. Cannot recommend highly enough!

“A peace of paradise”

One of the best places we ever booked. To stay in such a beautiful and peaceful place, surrounded by nature felt like a different kind of world. We were waking up each morning with the sounds of birds and chipmunks and the monkeys were giving us a show each time, we were like in a lovely mini safari. The design of the villa was amazing, showering outside was the highlight of the stay, everything was super clean and comfortable. The location is perfect as it is a few min away from the beach and main street so you can really feel connected to the nature. We were always looking forward for breakfast time to spend time with Champika, the loveliest host ever, what an amazing heart he has, he will always have a special place in our hearts. We tried Sri Lankan breakfast as well and it was delicious. Very close to go to all the beaches in the South and very good location to start some day trips as well. Initially we booked 5 nights but we decided to stay the next 5 as well as we didn't want to change how perfect everything was. Thank you our dear Champi for everything!!!!

We had a lovely stay in this secluded jungle paradise. The owner was so friendly and his wife makes the most delicious breakfast. Definitely a Cinnamon Paradise within walking distance of Ahangama beach.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful cabana nestled in the Cinnamon Garden. The outdoor bathroom and tropical garden setting were absolutely stunning — such a peaceful and unique experience surrounded by nature. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, offering genuine Sri Lankan hospitality and making sure we were comfortable at all times. The Sri Lankan breakfast was very delicious, especially the hoppers — they were freshly made and absolutely perfect! We truly felt at home and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic stay in Sri Lanka. 🇱🇰 🇬🇧✨

Great place to stay in busy Ahagama, away from crowds! The bungalows are so stylish in the middle of cinnamon garden with so many birds and other animals.

Champika was such a beautiful host! And we loved everything about Cinnamon Paradise. Staying in the jungle was a really unique experience across all of our travels in Sri Lanka. The room was really cool, with a beautiful outdoor bathroom. and breakfast was our favourite on the trip!

Champi and his brother created a magical place hidden between cinamon trees. Champi is a wonderful host with whom we had great conversations and who made all our wishes come true. The cabin is thoughtfully designed, private and the outside bathroom was stunning and the most beautiful we had ever had.

“Beautiful, calm place to stay!”

We really enjoyed the place. The huts are in the midst of a lush cinnamon garden, making it a peaceful haven away from Ahangamas busy main town. Just be aware that it takes around 20 minutes walking to the main road / town. The outdoor bathroom was a special highlight for us. Also, the owner Champika was incredible friendly and helpful, also when we had to make some short term amendments to our booking. If you're looking for a calm, relaxed, close to nature place to stay in Ahangama, this is just perfect!

“Hidden gem”

Absolute gem - if you’re looking for a quiet base in Ahangama, you should definitely consider Cinnamon Paradise. The chalets are very well done, comfortable and clean. Morning (outdoor) shower with monkeys swinging nearby is a memorable experience. But the absolute highlight is the amazing family in whose care you’ll be - breakfast from the lady of the house is varied and delicious, the owners can arrange anything (laundry, scooter) and they try to meet your wishes and needs. I felt their heart is in running this small paradise. Thank you!

Such a magical place. The huts were beautiful and there was so much attention to detail. We woke up with monkeys in our 'backyard'. The breakfast was also great every morning and the owners are very helpful and friendly. Ahangama is a short tuk tuk ride away and they also had a scooter for rent for a very fair price.

Absolutely beautiful accommodation - the outdoor bathroom and gardens were amazing. The host was lovely and made our stay very comfortable. 100% would recommend. We even bought some cinnamon from the farm! Very quiet and relaxing.
