The hotel is modern and has a lovely view and the staff are really kind and let us stay a little later than check out so that we could go to the beach in the morning and go for lunch! I would definately come back. The breakfast was also great

“Lovely place to stay right on the beach!”

This was our second stop on our Sri Lanka trip and wow we absolutely loved it at Blue Waves. The views from the bedroom and falling asleep to the sound of the waves crashing was just perfect! We also recommend the surf lessons from the team. Everyone is super welcoming and friendly. Facilities were great and location was close by to local restaurants and bars. Can’t wait to return 🏄🏽‍♀️

- Location was amazing to have the ocean view both out of your room and whilst chilling in the day on the beanbags (v comfy!!!) - The room is really clean and shower is powerful which was very welcome after a few weak showers!

“Great spot for surfers with break out the front for the more advanced surfers and awesome surf guide”

We loved the balcony overlooking the surf break and the proximity to Devils Rock surf break. On the outskirts of town but east to get friendly tuk tuk rides out the front. Fantastic surf lessons/guiding. Mathi, Avi and Jay were fantastic especially with my kids.

Loved everything about this place, super nice and very clean rooms, friendly staff and great food. Location is perfect, a Little bit outsider hustle and bustle of Ahangama, perfect distance to walk to couple of local restaurants.

The property was the most beautiful honeymoon place we could have wished for, staff went above and beyond, the sea view from the hotel room made the stay and was out this world. The speciality coffee in the on site cafe / restaurant was absolutely A* and really enjoyed the in house breakfast and also the on menu breakfast. Thankyou all for an incredible stay - we will be coming back, cant recommend this place enough!!!!

This hotel is just incredible! Everything was spotless and beautifully maintained, and the whole team made us feel completely at home from the very first moment. Every staff member was so kind and welcoming, always with a smile and happy to help with anything we needed. The facilities are fantastic It truly felt like a little piece of paradise. We loved every minute of our stay and can’t wait to come back!

We stayed three nights at Blue Waves, a spectacular place with beautiful views, a peaceful atmosphere, and a staff always ready to help with anything you need. Breakfast was delicious, and the sea-view rooms were absolutely amazing.

Very chill vibes great sea view

Incredible location with amazing views and calm surroundings - in my room with a sea view you could only hear the waves and nothing from other rooms or other noise. The room was beautiful and functional and the activities were well organized. It's quite a small hotel so the atmosphere is very relaxed with not too many people around.

The location is probably the best I have ever seen. I was in a king room facing Devil's rock and the view was stunning: going to bed and waking up with the sound of the sea it's worth the trip. I have enjoyed a lot both morning and sunset yoga classes with Ele and Alas, beautiful souls - unfortunately I don't think the managers keep the same instructors. The staff at the bar and even more Ashan at the reception really made the difference in making my stay great: they are the nicest. Food is also really nice. I agree with other comments flagging that a bit more variety for breakfast would be a nice touch, but to be honest I was extremely satisfied with it.

The property is undoubtedly very good and well equipped, but pricy.

The hotel is really beautiful with a great style. Our room had the most amazing view, it was large, clean and we had a nice private balcony. Facilities at the hotel are really nice and the breakfast is wonderful. Best thing about the hotel is the amazing people working there. Special thanks to Podi, Thesu, Bathi, Thamal, Bashi, Sawi and Owinda for making our stay a wonderful experience.
