Everything! The location is lovely, close to the beach but off the main road in a very nice safe neighborhood. The accommodation itself is perfect for a week stay, we couldve stayed longer because there’s everything you need! Most comfortable bed we’ve slept in so far during our trip in SL. And the pillows.. amazing. Everything was so clean!! The garden is beautifully kept and the host sweeps it in a lovely pattern each morning. I could go on… Host is super sweet, and even though her English was not super, we felt super welcome and at home. She even makes clothes! I bought a beautiful pant-set from her which she finished in no-time. We would absolutely recommend this place from the bottoms of hearts. And!! Almost forgot, she is an amazing cook. One of the best Sri Lankan food we had and wish we knew she had a cooking lesson :-)! So definitely do that with her! One of the best, cleanest, homeliest places we stayed in SL.

The area and lane down where the property is located is really nice and peaceful. The hosting family are very kind and respectful of privacy. The room was nicely decorated and everything was kept very clean. I spent 8 days and had a very relaxing and happy stay 😊

“Comfortable Rooms Surrounded by Nature”

The rooms are very comfortable, with a table, shelves and a clothes rack, a fan, and a private outdoor table on each terrace. It’s a very cute place surrounded by nature you can spot monkeys, mongooses, and beautiful birds right from your terrace. It’s away from the noise of the train lines and main streets, yet still just a few minutes away. The neighborhood feels very safe - I always felt comfortable walking alone after dark. The family is very kind and always ready to help with anything you need 💕

10/10 value for money! Very comfortable and hosts are incredibly welcoming. Highly recommended!

We had a very pleasant stay at this homestay. The room was beautiful and the bathroom was spacious. Everything was very clean. The hosts were extremely friendly and attentive. We were provided with drinking water, and on arrival we were welcomed with tea and pastries, which was a lovely touch. The Wi-Fi worked well. The bed was large, comfortable, and had a clean mosquito net. We would definitely recommend this place.

“Welcoming, comfortable and friendly.”

We stayed at Aurora for 4 nights and it was an incredible stay. The host family were so kind and welcoming, and offered tea and remedies for us when my partner was sick. The option to have laundry done on site was really helpful as well. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and we had mosquito nets on the bed which were a lifesaver. We will absolutely be staying again - thank you for our stay and see you soon!

The bedroom is big and clean. The location is perfect. Like 5 minutes walking to the lazy left which made so easy to surf every day. The family is really nice, they arranged the motorbike at a really good price

Great location, quiet and private. The family are very helpful with all our needs Delicious home cooking is available. Can use kitchen to make own meals. We like to cook porridge for breakfast and make an expresso coffee. A great place to stay.
