What a treasure of a find! This accommodation was superbly located for our purposes, on arrival the staff were very friendly and the room with its view overlooking the river was excellent. We were able to buy beers on arrival (late afternoon) and enjoy the sunshine from the terrace which also overlooked the river. On top of this the dinner was really good and the breakfast provided the next morning was equally as good. This hotel exceeded our expectations.

We stayed at this Hotel for 6 days .Lovely setting nestled in a valley by lakes and reservoirs surrounded by forest woodland , a hidden gem , enjoyable breakfast , very polite staff. Would not hesitate to return

An extraordinary stay at this hotel! We booked the bungalow on the side, which gave us both privacy and a terrace overlooking the stunning river. The views were absolutely breathtaking. The spa facilities were excellent, and breakfast on the terrace was delightful. We even stayed in for dinner at the hotel restaurant, and it was truly exceptional. Highly recommended!

We stayed both in a superior double room and the bungalow. The double room is very big with a great balcony with views to the lake and also a very spacious bathroom. The bungalow is fairly small, with a tiny shower room but a lovely decking area right over the lake. A bit more separate from the main building but right by car park, so not necessarily the privacy we expected. But it gives you robs for the spa! Staff were very friendly! The spa was nice even on a hot day, as the jacuzzi was not too hot. It was useful to know there was a restaurant on site. Breakfast was good, though not much option for juices, all from a machine. The location is amazing, right by the river! Also near other lovely places like Penacova with its praia do reconquinho! Lovely day out there! Also really enjoyed a meal at O Cortico! All very fresh and plenty!

“An excellent place to spend a weekend”

A fabulous place with idyllic scenery. The restaurant is very good. The prices are not expensive. An excellent place to spend a weekend or even a whole week.

The hotel is located in a beautiful, idyllic area of natural surroundings! The hotel is of a high standard. The rooms are wonderful and extremely clean. There is free and secure private parking. The rooms on the first floor offer amazing views.
