“Very nice hotel, but noisy kids”

Very nice place, excellent breakfast and comfortable room, with two terraces. Nice pool , unfortunately it was difficult to swim as there were two English families with very loud children, jumping into the pool. Maybe the hotel should have a timetable for kids to use the pool, to be fair to other guests.

So much to like. It’s small, personal and welcoming which we loved. In a gorgeous area. the room was so spacious with 2 balconies. We were late and were greeted and welcomed with lovely evening meal.

We just love this hotel, the breakfast is probably the best we have ever eaten. Do book an evening meal if you are able, the food is wonderful. The rooms are really comfortable and the sea view is lovely. This was our second stay here. We arranged our route especially this year so that we could stay here. We will definitely be back!

Family Agua Amarga We really enjoyed our stay at Family Agua Amarga. Spotless and comfortable room with a cosy private balcony giving us glimpses of the sea and the amazing night sky. Great breakfast offering us all that we could ask for and more than we could eat. Enjoyed dinner at the hotel one evening - again generous helpings and great food. It would be even better if there were some vegetarian options for dinner. During our stay, the first day we walked south to Playa del Plumo and on the way particularly enjoyed spending time on beautiful Playa de Enmedio - highly recommended. The second day we walked north to Playa de los Muertos - another beautiful beach. We were very happy to see many beautiful wild flowers on our walks. Agua Amarga is a pleasant village in a wonderful location. We hope to visit again in the not too distant future.

We had booked a superior double room with a sea view and were very happy with both the room and the view. The breakfast and dinner were both superb and the staff were very friendly. We would certainly stay at this hotel again in future.

Location was great, staff very friendly , loved the little touches that were made. Melon after a long day out sight seeing, very refreshing. Oh and the breakfast was lovely! Evening meal was lush.

“Wonderful family hotel, well situated with views across the town and beach”

A beautiful, authentic Spanish hotel. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were attentive and kind. The room was exceptionally clean and the hotel had lovely extras like fresh melon, chocolates and bottled water. The view across the beach was beautiful. I could not recommend it higher

“A wonderful small hotel offering personal service at a beautiful beach location”

A lovely small family hotel. The staff were really helpful despite the lack of a common language. The breakfast was huge and made to order. Fruit was put out in the afternoon and chocolates at night. Parking was onsite and free. The pool was great and due to the small size of the hotel there was no competition for deck chairs.
