Really enjoyed our stay. Short but sweet! We felt right at home even though we arrived late at night for just one night. The couple who run this Homestay are incredibly kind and we had some wonderful conversations with the both of them. Highly recommend staying at Sunita Homestay!

Kind, friendly and welcoming hosts. Very close and easy walk to Taj Mahal with lovely view of it from their rooftop. Also nice to sit on roof and get some sunshine (Mr Sunita suggested I take a chair up!) Fun to watch the family of monkeys up there too! Sunita made sure we were warm enough with extra blankets and comfortable with more pillows when requested. Their home is simple with no frills but their welcome is heartfelt and the experience genuine - they were happy to share with us whatever they have. We had a delicious home cooked meal with them for only 300 Rs each and were given tea and homemade biscuits before we left. It was a quiet area and we felt safe and secure there.

“Exceptionally lovely stay with Sunita”

We had a great time at Sunita's lovely homestay. She and Mr Guru are amazing people, very welcoming and helpful in explaining the city, where to go and how to get there. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. You can even see the Taj Mahal from the room and the rooftop. We had diner with them every night of our stay. A warm, homecooked meal that no restaurant can top, how can you say no to that? Thank you so much for everything, Sunita. I highly recommend this place. By far my favorite accomodation i have been at in India.

1) The location is perfect!!!! Easy and very safe as a blond solo femal traveler to walk in the evening around or at 5am to Taj Mahal. 2) The room was very clean. Also the bathroom. Shower pressure was perfect (i read in other reviews that it was not good..)

Sunita and her husband Guru are wonderful hosts who welcomed me like family. They cooked for me and invited me to celebrate Holi with them, making my first solo trip to India feel safe and special. Their home is just a 10-minute walk from the Taj Mahal, making it a perfect stay. I highly recommend it and would gladly return!

“Friendly and clean homestay”

Very clean, very friendly and helpful family, yummy breakfast, close location to Taj (~10min walking). The owner advised us how to book tickets for Taj and how to check our train status. I can definitely recommend it and I would stay there again.

The owner is a very nice man. We decided to have dinner and breakfast inside, and we were served amazing Indian food! Also, Sunita Homestay is located well, a 5 min walk to entrance of Taj Mahal. It even has a rooftop terrace from which you can see the Taj Mahal. Overall, we absolutely recommend Sunita Homestay!

“This is the place you want to stay in when visiting Agra”

We, group of 6, 4 rooms, spend an excellent night and day! We were so lucky to stay here. Incredibly close to Taj Mahal. Our host turned out to be an excellent guide, with a sense of humor, for the whole day. Together we visited the Taj, the Fort, a restaurant and a nice tailor/fabrics shop. We had someone with special needs, where possible all was done to ensure he was helped with a wheelchair. We loved the home cooked dinner and breakfast. Look no further, this is your stay.

I appreciate the host’s prompt responses to all my messages. The homestay is in a quiet neighborhood and only a 10-minutes walk to the Eastern Gate of the Taj Mahal - so the location is just perfect. It also boasts a terrace with view of the Taj in the distance. The room is just as described, clean, and with good hot water. Privacy is assured as all 3 rooms for guests are upstairs. The hosts - Guru and his wife - are very knowledgeable and can give you detailed, relevant travel information. Try to have a vegetarian meal while you stay here to get a taste of delicious home-made cooking. Highly, highly, highly recommended!

“Real cozy and homely homestay”

Sunitas Homestay is a very nice place to stay for several nights in Agra! Sunita, her husband, and the staff are super nice, helpful, and caring. You'll feel at home immediately. Plus, it is a real homestay. The two live on the ground floor. The guest rooms are on the second floor. The handycraft tour with Guru was super nice, there is free filter water for refills, and they'll do everything in their power to make you feel welcome and at home.
