Our lovely hosts run this accommodation very professional and supported us with transfer as well es arranging our Taj Mahal tour, so that we didn‘t had to worry about bargaining all around the Taj. Taj in walking distance, perfect for a sunrise tour. Some nice food place (Good vibe cafe was well recommended) is also in walking distance

Staying at Khas Mahal is not just about having a place to sleep — it’s truly an experience. The location is perfect, only a 10–15 minute walk from the Taj Mahal. The rooms are spotless, modern, and beautifully designed with a subtle touch of heritage. The rooftop and common areas are ideal for relaxing, sharing meals, and meeting other guests — and even more so for spending time with the hosts. Everything worked perfectly during our stay: hot water, AC, fan, and a flatscreen TV. Now, the food deserves special mention. We usually like to explore different restaurants, but this time we ended up having all our meals at the homestay — and we didn’t regret it for a second. The food is cooked with love, served with a smile, and enjoyed with pure pleasure. Without a doubt, it was the best food we had in India. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The hosts are incredibly helpful as well. Whether you need a guide or any kind of information, they are always ready to assist. And we can’t forget the warm welcome — every time they opened the door, brought us something, or answered our questions, it was always done with genuine kindness and a smile. “Best stay in India”

This is a true homestay! The owners live on the ground floor of the hotel and assist you with everything. You don’t need to worry about transportation, tour guides, money exchange or food. You get all from one source and for a truly reasonable price. We loved the atmosphere and kind care about us. We loved the rooftop. And of course the walking distance to Taj. Stayed 4 nights. Loved every one of them. Don’t miss the cooking class!

Pooja and her husband are very warm and supportive. home made cooking from Pooja is great quality and quantity! Location is perfect for reaching Taj Mahal.

Literally a 10 minute walk from the Taj Mahal entrance. The hosts are lovely, very helpful and pleasant. The room is large, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely too.

We had a lovely stay at Khas Mahal Homestay. The Homestay is very well appointed and modern and both the rooms we had were clean and had what we needed. The breakfast was included and was good. Aiyush and Pooja were excellent hosts and always on hand to help with any questions we had. There is also a roof terrace.

“Feeling at home in Agra with Aiyush&Pooja”

Aiyush & Pooja were outstanding warm-hearted hosts. They took good care of us and helped us on anything we needed during our stay: from arranging a private car to Jaipur to finding a yoga instructor to do a morning class in Taj Park. We loved to learn more about Indian culture from them and definitely Pooja’s cooking class and that dinner was one of the highlights of our trip to India!! We’d definitely come back and will recommend it to any of our friends/relatives traveling to Agra.

Excellent accommodation place. Me and my partner stayed there for two nights, and we wish all accommodations in India were as good as that! Super friendly hosts, very comfortable bed and delicious home cooked food. We did the cooking course as well, highly recommend it!

It’s within walking distance to Taj Mahal yet the evenings are quite as the property is away enough from bustling streets. And the hosts, Pooja and Aiyush helped us so much and adjusted to our busy schedule and inconvenient timing

Our stay at Khas Mahal Homestay was truly wonderful! Although we booked the accommodation on short notice, the hostess prepared an extremely delicious dinner for us and catered to our wishes. Pooja and Aiyush also supported us greatly in planning and organizing our stay in Agra. They gave us tips on what to see and arranged a very nice and competent guide for our visit to the Taj Mahal as well as Agra Fort. Since we flew back to Germany directly after our Agra visit, they even prepared some equally delicious travel provisions for us. The accommodation itself is spacious, clean, and relatively quiet. Heartfelt thanks for this wonderful short stay! <3

Lovely couple owners of the Homestay! They are so gentle and make you feel very welcomed. They also supported with the Taj Mahal guide tour and suggested the best times to visit according to the weather conditions. The rooms was clean and very comfortable, bathroom was spacious.
