Good hotel Good food good location but they do not follow honesty policy. They give us two basement rooms 002 and 003 telling that these are ground floor rooms. I told that lady at front desk who attended us at 1 PM on 11th April that it is my parents anniversary so give us good rooms but she said that the other rooms were not available. She lied! Dishonest lady! If you want to give basement rooms then this information should be while booking the hotel. Don’t fool them that this is ground floor. It is actually 80% basement!

The overall state of the hotel was way below our expectation and not at all what the photos portrayed. On arrival we were given a room which was run down and shabby. We were able to shift to a more passable room although much smaller. The bathroom was super small and uncomfortable. The breakfast was poor, with limited choice. the hotel advertises its proximity and view of the Taj Mahal from the rooftop, when in reality there is no lighting on the Taj at night and it is impossible to spot it in the darkness. Truly, not an experience to repeat!

The staff at the hotel and the restaurant were very helpful and friendly. The location is excellent being about 10 minute walk to the east gate of Taj Mahal. The restaurant and stafff are very friendly.

Location was convenient. The food in the rooftop restaurant was beyond excellent and great care was taken to ensure the food is suitable for my friend’s (non-Indian) palates.
