“Good hotel; better management will help”
The hotel is great; modern, plush with all amenities including a spa and a swimming pool. It is close to the Taj, though not in the Taj Ganj area but at a short distance (about 2 km to Shilpgram from where electric shuttle takes one to the east gate. The room size is good with adequate storage and seating space; the staff is courteous and helpful. Check-in and check-out were also smooth. The swimming pool is right behind the main lobby and given the glass walls, lacks privacy that it deserves. The linen is good, clean but the towels could do with some improvement. The breakfast buffet menu is huge spread (common with most hotels in this range) with choice ranging from continental to Indian and a variety within that. It may be useful to think if there is some merit in reducing the choice of food items made available for ethical reasons of overconsumption and the problem of food wastage.

The property is close to the Taj Mahal and the travel agent in the Marriott was very good and accommodating us for a quick tour of the Taj.
