Everything was amazing! It feels like you stay overnight in a museum. Staff was incredibly friendly and we learned a lot about the kasbah. The view from the roof terrace is spectacular and the pool is awesome as well. The location was perfect to break up the trip to the desert

Was such a cool and unique place. The hosts and staff were very friendly and gave us some great info on the history of the place. Cannot say enough positive things about the staff there. The food also exceeded our expectations and was fantastic! Can't beat that pool view either. One of a kind.

“Such a unique experience .”

We stayed here for two nights as a family of four with two young boys, and it truly felt like the minimum needed to appreciate the atmosphere and uniqueness of this place. There are so many little corners of the kasbah to explore, and the rooftop offers beautiful views over the surrounding area. Place is peaceful and quiet. We’ve come away with really special memories. Everyone who works here made us feel genuinely welcome. A special thank you to Malika, who was incredibly kind and generous with her time. We had a many nice conversations with her. She made sure we had everything we needed and made us feel truly looked after. Our children absolutely loved her, and we had no problem communicating in English. The host also made a lovely effort to connect with our children, even without a shared language, taking the time to engage with them and answer their questions. The place itself is clean and very well maintained, which is especially impressive considering it’s built from traditional materials like clay and straw.

The building / complex was solely made of clay, straw and wood. It is amazing to see, how this place has been restored, however given these building materials do not expect an environment of a “normal” building as we know it. It is a very charming building, super authentic, but also very rustic. The owner did everything to include amenities like private bathrooms and electricity, but if you are bothered by flies or rustic environment, maybe not your choice. If you like to breathe authentic atmosphere you will love this place.

It’s rare to find a place where history is not just preserved, but genuinely lived and felt in every corner. Our host was kind and welcoming, always willing to show us around and share the story and heritage of the place. His passion made the experience even more meaningful. The food was also excellent — authentic and full of flavor. And waking up in such a unique and historic setting was simply magical. It’s an experience we will always cherish.

We loved everything! It was a short stay on our way to the desert and it was perfect for that. The owner was so lovely, didn’t mind the late check in and made sure the dinner was ready for us, also took the time to explain the history of the place. The room was small but well equipped and we had everything we needed a colder night. The breakfast was nice and filling, we really felt like we were welcomed in someone’s house - and views from the terrace lovely.

The stay feels like stepping into a scene from a ‘1001 Nights’ movie - original, rustic, and full of character. The pool and rooftop setup are absolutely unreal, adding little luxuries that make the experience unforgettable. The staff and owner made us feel completely at home and welcome. It was also our first time trying camel tagine, and it was absolutely amazing. We are so grateful for this unforgettable experience!

The Kasbah is absolutely beautiful, cosy, clean and peaceful. We were looked after like we were family, and felt like we had entered an incredibly unique and special home. The food was also delicious and affectionately prepared. Compared to many places we stayed on our trip to morroco , Kasbah Ohlad Othmane was stylish, modern, and authentic in all the right ways. We would love to come back.
