Beautifully decorated beachside bungalow, right in the middle of Agonda beach. The property’s aspect meant stunning sunsets, framed by the veranda. The staff at Agonda Villas were absolutely wonderful. We were made to feel very welcome, with delicious breakfasts brought to your door every morning. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. They really made the stay special.

“Not a four star property…”

Unfortunately I really can’t give this property a great review. It’s definitely not worthy of the four stars it alleges to be. To begin, we were required to prepay the full amount of our stay directly before arrival, a procedure which I’ve never come across before on our travels. The reason we were given was something to do with not being able to process the card via booking.com due to scams but this makes no sense to me as it’s worked perfectly everywhere else. We pressed on and got it sorted but perhaps in hindsight we should have called it quits at that point. On arrival we had a bit of a job finding the place as it’s not at all sign posted. When we were pointed by locals down a long, narrow, dirty alleyway I was actually crossing my fingers we were in the wrong place, we weren’t. Upon entering the room we were surprised to find old, run down furniture and to make it more interesting, the air con was blasting such cold air that the condensation had caused the floor to become completely wet which turned it into something akin to an ice skating rink and we were literally skating. The enormous bed is actually made up of two mattresses sideways, so the join is uncomfortably sitting somewhere around the thigh/hip area. The staff asked if we’d like the jacuzzi filled as it takes 90 minutes. Our jacuzzi was old and damaged with rusted taps and yes takes a full 90 minutes to fill up. Excited to try it out anyway, we waited in anticipation, swimming costumes on - only to find the water was completely cold when we went to get in!

“Not quite as expected...but”

I expected a small beach side resort..., maybe wrongly. So I was put off to find access via narrow motorcycle crowded passage and inclined to reconsider the booking. Reception was also dusty and area in need of some repair attention. BUT Agonda Villas has several big rooms, with huge bathroom (in my case), directly on the beach. It is an outstandingly peaceful location. It was really what was wanted...albeit not what I expected from the photos. It is simply rooms by the sea; no restaurant, bar, pool. They bring you a very good breakfast and can bring in dinner from local restaurants...So...not quite what wqas expected. But very much enjoyed.

Wonderful cottage in the perfect location on a beautiful beach. Spacious with fantastic outside bathroom. Minutes from sea. Wonderfully attentive staff. Breakfast delivered to deck outside cottage. Agenda Villas looked to be the best property on the beach!

Beautifully kept villa, good facilities, located on the beach with easy access. Tub on terrace was a nice touch, although takes a while to fill. Friendly staff on hand if you needed anything.

“Beautiful private beach huts perfectly located on Agonda Beach Goa”

Beach huts were located right on the beach front on Agonda beach - pretty much in the centre of the bay so easy walking distance to bars and restaurants either side of the hotel. The bedroom was large with a super king sized four poster bed, with an equally spacious bathroom at the back, and we had our own private terrace at the front with a hot tub/jacuzzi and sun loungers out the front. Great location, lovely staff, AC fully functioning, and the perfect end to our trip in Goa.

“Fantastic Villa with great view of beach with lovely staff”

What a fantastic stay we had . The actual apartment was lovely and bigger than I had expected. The staff went above and beyond to assist us in anything we mentioned and it was overall just a relaxing experience. I did not even have the money to pay for my taxi as the atm was out of service the 1st day we were there and the Manager Rupesh paid for our cab allowed us to pay back later. This was a celebration of my girlfriend’s 40th . On top they arranged for flowers to be in the room on arrival and ordered something from India for us so it was there as part of the celebration.
