“Homely and safe”

Scott, the owner, lives onsite and treats everyone like his own children, he takes great pride in teaching and protecting them like he would his own (he also has 2 kids in their early 20's) The hostel is kept way above the standard you would expect in a hostel, you can see the pride taken. The kitchen is big enough and there's plenty of cookware and even has a "free" box with oil and herbs and stuff for everyone to share. There is plenty of seating everywhere you go, nice hammocks in the garden, it's easy to be social or go off and find your own space. I was in the Tin shack, which is as described, but it was super cheap and private so i was happy. The have a fire pit and a board with daily activities which were easy to join, the long termers and the staff were always happy to include me in whatever crazy adventures they were having. oooo and theres a puppy! Chilli! who is always up for pats and if you ask nicely, scott lets you take her on walks or even a jog! There's a surf school that operates from the hostel that goes daily and also a very different tour where you can legally fly a plane!!! this was cheap too!

The location was great, kitchen was open 27/7 and closed twice a day for cleaning. Parking was convenient.

Bedding wasn’t on the bed when we turned up to make it. Stupid that they don’t make the beds for people arriving late at night who have to make it themselves in the dark when others are sleeping/trying to sleep.

The staff was super nice, the vibe was awesome, and the entertainment made the time in Agnes Water even better. You all made the stay unforgettable, friendly, fun, and full of good energy. The atmosphere and the staff!

Amazing vibe, the staff was so nice and friendly. We even got some free extras like a spontaneous ride to see the kangaroos.

Relaxed, welcoming and clean! Chilli the dog!! Scotty the boss. The comfy sofas outside. ‘Staff meetings’. Everyone dressing up as bananas to meet new arrivals off the Greyhound buses. Sharing food, beer and getting to know people around the fire pit.

Best stay of my travels in Australia!! The best part of Agnes!! I kept extending because I loved it so much. Everyone is social, there's a firepit most nights & social events throughout the week. Scott & Holly are amazing & full of advice for your travels. I felt super safe and everything was so clean!!

Very clean hostel with a good atmosphere. The hostel also offers surfing lessons and a scenic flight where you can fly the plane yourself! An amazing experience. It is so worth it!

The hostel is beautiful with very chill vibe! The kitchen is big and well equipped. The double room/cabin was very cute and comfy. Cold during night and hot during the day but there were many blankets to keep us warm so we were alright. Totally worth it for the price we paid!
