Overview
Beachside 1770 YHA is a tranquil little getaway in paradise. With surfboard and bike hire, and just a 200m walk through the lush rainforest to Agnes Waters' main beach, you'll be able to get the most out of our great backyard. ...and being pet friendly, your pooch can experience it all right with you! For those warmer summer days in our sleepy coastal town, the hostel features a billiards table, dart board, shaded pool and an air-conditioned lounge. The lounge boasts activities for all ages including board games, a library, musical instruments and a flat screen TV with Netflix, Stan and YouTube. All guests enjoy free Wi-Fi throughout the property, air-conditioning in all rooms, and a shared kitchen and laundry facilities. The town centre is only a 5 min walk, and the stunning national parklands of 1770 is just a 10 min drive… Although with our on-site coffee van, and free breakfast from 6-10am, you won’t need to go far!

“Great place, would stay again”
Great value for money. We slept incredibly well. The beds were very comfortable and it was very quiet at night, despite it being a long weekend. The location is a short walk from the main street with shops. There was a coffee cart in the parking area in the morning which was very convenient.

Laid back vibe with some regular backpackers. The people there are very inclusive. Social areas are good for meeting people. Staff are very helpful and lovely. Seems to be family run
