“The pool was dirty and green with thick algae”

When we arrived at the house the pool was green with algae and you could not see the base of the pool. The pump had clearly been broken for a number of days before our arrival as there was historical dirt around the pool liner. Unfortunately no assurance could be given by the agent who met us as to when it would be fixed as it was holiday season in Italy and she did not know if and when an engineer would be available. We were not informed of these problems before our arrival. We had therefore paid and booked a 7 day pool holiday without a pool. Booking.com have tried on our behalf to get any form of refund but have not had any success from Interhome or the owner. I would not recommend this property. The owner feels that there is no need to refund as we were offered entrance to the local municipal pool.

Amazing host, very clean, everything was great, big, clean pool! I'd recommend the place to everyone :)

“Amazing stay for a big group, there’s privacy, lots of space and perfect location”

We had an amazing time in Villa Laura. The villa was gorgeous, there is a lot of privacy and the huge garden is great. The pool is lovely, and was cleaned everyday which we highly appreciated. At one point a storm broke one of the sun umbrellas, and the owners brought us a replacement within a few hours. They were great in communication and very nice! The location is also perfect, enough privacy, but walking distance (30 min approx) to the village poppi where you can do groceries or go out for dinner.
