“my worst stay and host experience in Tinos”
I am visiting Tinos more than 10 years. It was my worst stay ever and the less friendly host. The rooms and photos in booking are unreal. The room I had initially booked had a confirmation that a private swimming pool was there. The host called me after booking the room and told me there is no pool but she could change the room with 30 additional euros charged. When visiting first day at 12 pm she informed me that common quiet hours is 1-6 and my kids should be quiet because she is hosting couples and need quiet....she knew before booking that was alone with 2 kids... not to mention that we spent all day in the beach due to the restriction of 1-6. Next morning before check out knocked our door at 10 and told us when we are supposed to leave while the check out was at 11. Finally in check out she requested for additional charge of 80 euros and not 30 due to the cancellation charged of the other room...needless to say that is she had informed me for that charge when booking we wouldn't have stayed there from the begining. With regards to the room the swimming pool was very small dirty and not properly constructed (ietiles and cement and no proper pool materials) this resulted in both children's legs were tored off. finally no basic amenities (ie shampoo etc) and no air condition in bedroom....Finally the king size bed was in front of a fixed window without curtains and blinds so we woke up at 6....together with the sunrize...and all these costed 280 euros...this was my last surprise! I assume the reasoning behind this is that we stayed for 1 night and she treated us like unwanted...However she is not obliged to book for 1 night stay and if she had initially informed me for the cost and the pool and room ristrictions we would definitly not have booked and stayed there. Looking for better stay experience next year in Tinos!
