Overview
This traditionally styled guest house is 100 metres from the sandy beach Agios Ioannis. It offers unobstructed sea views from the rooms and the charming courtyard. Each of the bright and airy rooms at the guesthouse Golden Sun has private balcony with sea view. They all offer air conditioning, TV, fridge and central heating. Wi-Fi is free in the entire property. Guests can sample regional dishes at the hotel’s tavern situated a few metres from the Golden Sun. There is a seating room with TV on site. The Pelion Ski Resort is a 30-minute drive. The Golden Sun guesthouse is very close to the famous beaches of Chorefto, and the Papa Nero.

The property is very clean and in a good location. You can go down the stairs directly to the beach. What I didn't like was that the internet didn't work, and we didn't have water one morning. Everything else was okay, I recommend it.

We liked the balcony with clear open view to the Aegean sea. The building was nice as well and clean. The staff was very kind and friendly.

“When a view is devine”
Greece is beautiful in so many ways. But sitting on the balcony of "Golden Sun" overlooking the Sea and it's infinity and listening to the waves is such a glory value and a top experience for me, that I will never forget

“Wonderful place, clean room with limited facilities.”
Agios Ioannis is a very nice place for holidays. Great beaches by the forested mountain, great food. The room was always clean and tidy.

The room was comfortable and clean, the staff were friendly, we had a great view from the balcony. The location was perfect, Plaka beach was a short walk from the apartment. We highly recommend it!

The beds were soft and new, and every day, the sheets and bath towels were replaced. The room was clean, and it had nice decoration. The view from the room was amazing and at night you could also hear the waves of the sea.

“Comfortable and clean stay”
Very clean and comfortable rooms, at a key location, close to the restaurants and nightlife. The adinistrators are very pleasant and helpful. A definitely value for money choice!
