Ok, let's start with the location. It's a beautiful beachside village in the beautiful north Evia Island. The waters are crystal clear and the area has a lot to offer. Now, about the host, this is the most cheerful host I have ever had to deal with. It's a family business, there is a small coffee bar with snacks downstairs, which is helpful if you don't want or have time to prepare breakfast, or for having a drink in the afternoon, on the water. The rooms themselves were very clean, with comfortable beds. Simply furnished, but practical. You get the small kitchenette (I didn't really use, just for the weekend stay, we needed to relax), but from a quick check, anything you needed was there, from cutlery, a cooking stove, a coffee maker, and a small but functional fridge. For our family of four, we booked two rooms, so we enjoyed the togetherness through the common balcony, but it was separate from our teenagers, who also got their own bathroom in their private room. The triple room is ok for a family with a little child, since it is not bigger than the double room, it's just got an extra single bed. The views, either from the balconies or from the little bar on the beach, are to die for. I just wish the beach was easier to access, you definitely need swimming shoes to get in and out, and the water is crystal clear and unbelievably cooling while warm at the same time. The air conditioner functions well too. The property is close to nice beaches and to the ferry boat to Lychadonisia, which was a beautiful excursion. Last but not least, they were so welcoming to our Golden Retriever dog, who enjoyed swimming without any annoying comments from anyone. Basically, the beach is more or less empty, with umbrellas and beach lounges, but you have it all for yourself. There is great food in the area and wonderful restaurants within walking distance.
