“Good rest after Samaria gorge”

Welcome staff, warm bed blanket during cold weather, clean room, great seaview and also to the village and the surrounding mountains. The location of Agia Roumeli is convenient for rest after Samaria gorge. Ferry station is also nearby. Plenty of delicious restaurants nearby.

The location was stunning, so close to the sea but yet with easy access along cobble path to centre of village. Very characterful taverna. Fantastic hosts Maria and Yiorgos who have had this taverna and rooms since 1994. Thank you so much for all your kindness.

This is how simple hotels in Greece looked like 40 years ago. Cheap, basic, effective, no frills. What is truly outstanding in this place is the hospitality of the owners.
