Positioned perfectly on the edge of the north-eastern shoreline of Kythera, Pelagia Aphrodite Hotel has the best sea views the island has to offer. Begin your day with a dip into our gem-of-a-beach, 50 metres away, Fyri Ammos is the red pebble beach adjacent to the hotel. The genuine warmth of this family operated hotel compliments the relaxed atmosphere and allows you to just unwind and lose track of time. The hotel is situated in Agia Pelagia, one of the leading coastal villages, a ten-minute stroll into town and you find yourself amongst a great selection of cafes and taverns where you can experience traditional Greek cuisine. A 7 km drive to the lively village of Potamos and 28 km away from Chora, the capital of Kythera. The rooms of the hotel are located across two wings, α(alpha) and π(pi). Both wings offer spacious rooms with an abundance of natural light flowing throughout them along with all modern comforts. The hotel serves a Greek style breakfast, with additional seasonal produce selected from the family organic farm, enjoyed outdoors with majestic views of Cape Malea and the Peloponnese coastline. In addition to breakfast treat yourself to coffee, refreshments and small snacks at the café bar area. There is also a gift shop within the hotel premises where you will find a selection of unique gift ideas and local souvenirs.

“Beautiful hotel, staff and balcony views.”
Ending up staying here for nearly a week with my partner. Both of us loved it. We used it as a base to explore the island and relax. Didn’t disappoint at all. Location just on the southern edge of town made for some nice evening beachside walks. The team was really really great with helpful and comprehensive advice on where to go in Kythira. The room was perfect with a lovely view of the sea and the Peloponnese in the distance. Lovely to wake up to. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
