Location is perfect, you cross the road and you're at the beach basically. Good places to have lunch, supermarkets and station 16 is very close as well.

Our stay at Golden Evelyn was delightful. The family that run it were so very welcoming, and you can tell they are proud of the lovely place they have created. Everything about it felt 5 star. The accommodation was immaculately clean and the furnishings very tasteful and top quality. The big bed was very comfortable and was accompanied by a very modern bathroom. There was a kitchen area which was more than adequate to cook a meal or light lunch in . We had a lovely garden view from the balcony. The location is ideal for the beaches and also the bus stop. It was on the flat, so no uphill walking and very peaceful. We will absolutely book here again without a second thought! Thankyou 😊

Golden Evelyn is a self catering apartment with every cooking facilities available. The apartments are spotless, the beds so comfy and the family who own and run the business couldn't do enough for me. The apartment was cleaned every day with clean bed linen and towels. The location is spot on, restaurants, bars, supermarkets are all within walking distance, the bus stop is a few minutes walk all on the flat, the bus will take you into the harbour, town or to the many beautiful beaches and the buses run late into the evening. I have only been home one day and I have already recommended two separate families to book this place. I would like to give Golden Evelyn the highest score possible, and I never normally give any reviews at all.

We had a very pleasant experience from the very beginning. The host welcomed us with great kindness and even allowed us to check in earlier, which was extremely helpful. Communication was excellent – he responded very quickly to messages and was always available for any questions we had. Another big plus was how understanding he was and the very useful recommendations he gave us for local restaurants and the most beautiful beaches, which made our stay even more relaxing. The room was well equipped with everything we needed during our stay. The balcony is spacious and offers a wonderful view, perfect for moments of relaxation. Spacious contemporary apartment with a short stroll to beach just across the road. Bottled water was available to buy on sight and coffee capsules if required. Clean bedding and towels changed frequently, with apartment bins emptied daily. Large balcony with small clothes line/pegs to dry your clothes. Fabulous walk in shower and large comfortable bed. Plenty of wardrobe storage. Tv in bedroom and lounge if you required.

The little apartment was very modern and cosy and had everything we needed also for making our own breakfast and eating breakfast on our balcony. Christos and his family are very welcoming and really dedicated hosts. Also super clean. Great location: yummy taverns, two mini markets and two bus stops in short walking distance. Good starting point for hinking tours. We enjoyed our stay greatly! Thank you indeed, dear Christos! :D

One of the best places I've ever been. Great hosts who welcomed us with a delicious local welcome dessert. Me and my boyfriend rented an apartment with a sea view - it was magical. The pictures absolutely do justice to the conditions of the place, inside there is everything you need for a week's stay, as we were. Including coffee machine (capsules for starters and water), iron, hair dryer and more. The apartment was cleaned every day. The beach is in front of the hotel, you just cross the street. There is parking, but if you don't have a car, it's not a problem, because the bus stop is about 200 meters away and goes to the city center and the airport. It is also very convenient because the bus takes you to almost all the nice beaches, although the one in front of the hotel is one of them, and you don't need to go anywhere else every time. There are restaurants and shops near the hotel if you don't feel like going to Skiathos. If we return to this magical island, it will definitely be in the same place! I recommend!

We booked two rooms - Spacious one bed apartment for 2 adults and one child (sofa bed). and then a separate double room for 1 person. Both rooms Very very clean. Suited us perfectly. Beds comfortable, kitchen had fridge/ freezer, hobbs, oven, kettle, toaster. Strong air conditioning. Apartment balcony very big, double room balcony small but enough room for a table and chairs and drying your swimwear. Best self catering facilities we have ever had in Greece. Apartment is a 5 minute walk to a great beach - beach has loungers and a few beach bars. We went end of Aug and the sea was beautifully warm and calm. 2024 - 2 loungers and a parasol was 20 euros front row, 15 back row. Beach is long and narrow in parts. Supermarket with everything you need is about a 3 minute walk to the left of the apartment. Even had dairy free spread and almond milk. Just a few minutes walk to about 8 traditional restaurants. Jimmys which is just next door serves beautiful authentic food - highly recommend the lamb souvlaki or Moussaka! Most restaurants had a child’s menu and were happy to make simple omelettes etc for our 3 year old. Christos the owner met us on arrival, gave us his number so we could contact him and his wife if we needed to. He lives here with his family so is on hand and you will be very well taken care of.

Friendly and helpful host, Christos was on hand for anything we needed. Rooms are modern, clean and lovely. Within walking distance of some lovely bars and restaurants and in a lovely area of the island. Would definitely stay again if we were to return!
