“Great villa in a great location. Would definitely stay here again.”

We had a superb stay at the Sun Ray Beach Life Villa. Would definitely come back if we were in the Chania area again. There were four of us (parents with 2 adult children) and the villa was the perfect size. The villa was clean, extremely well appointed, showing no signs of wear and tear despite our stay being relatively late in the season. The wifi was reliable and fast, and so was the air-conditioning. Our liaison, Eva, was extremely helpful and friendly, and answered the few queries we had promptly. The pool was great, as was the jacuzzi. The location was brilliant - we didn't have a car, but it didn't matter. The villa is about 4 minutes walk from a supermarket and the "main drag" of Agia Marina, with plenty of decent restaurants, and maybe another minute's walk to the (very nice) beach and seafront, but it is set back from the main street and feels nicely private. Would have no hesitation at all in recommending.

The location was perfect, the owners were amazing hosts. Always there for support. The rooms were perfect sizes. Very relaxing clean and spacious. It had everything we needed and more.

The house looks exactly as shown in the pictures (only plants have grown a little bigger). The hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful. The pool und sunbeds are facing south and are great for relaxation. The hot tube is perfect on chill October nights. BBQ is huge. Interior is tasteful, kitchen is large, beds are comfy, shower hot and strong. Windows let sunshine in, curtains keep it dark, mosquito nets work well. House was spotless clean, parking easy. Large TV with Netflix, Prime etc. Fireplace is only decorative. Large dining tables inside and outside. Nice couch. Many restaurants, mini markets, bakeries and shops in walking distance. Lidl 2km away. Beach also in walking distance. We really enjoyed dinner at Nymfi restaurant, which is only 150m away. In summary, nothing to complain and we look forward to coming back! “Excellent villa in central location”

Villa In central location, so everything you need is on your doorstep. Easy walking distance to an excellent selection of restaurants situated on the seafront. There is also a good selection of shops and supermarkets nearby.. Villa is kept clean, and the kitchen has everything you need should you decide to eat in. Although central, the location is quiet, making for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. Owners were always available to help with any issues. Would have no hesitation recommending this villa if you are looking for somewhere that has everything within walking distance.

Property location, space, facilities and quality were excellent.

Everything can not fault the property at all, clean, tidy, and modern. The host Mary was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble.the pool, jacuzzi, and outside area was top class, and the inside was superb, I have no issues recommending this property. the only issue was we had to leave..... Oh and the cleaners are absolutely great, friendly, and consistent. They come in twice a week.

Villa , which is very tastefully done up , top amenities spacious.. offering an excellent experience for the stay. Hosts are very attentive, caring for the experience, responsive .. location is good wrt having shops around .. nearest supermarket is just 3 mins walk. Not a scenic locale but easy access to beach and restaurants. As an island , Crete was lovely and very warm friendly locals .. rented a car and explored Chania and Rethymno.

Everything was amazing! The location, the villa itself, the hosts, just perfect! From when we booked to when we sadly left the hosts were so helpful. And the pictures do not do the villa justice, it’s beautiful and we could not fault a thing.

We are a family of three and and spent a week here. The villa is perfectly located, at a short walking distance to the beach, supermarkets, shopping streets and many good restaurants. The communication with the hosts (Mary and Eva) was very easy. As we arrived late, the host did grocery shopping for us which was highly appreciated. There was wine and homemade olive snacks making us feel really welcome. The air-condition works really well and cools the rooms down really fast. The big couch in the living room is so comfortable. We really liked the interior and exterior decor of the house - stylish and comfy. There was an extra cleaning during the week, where we got new towels and linens. Nice tips from the hosts for places to visit and eat. The pool is environmentally disinfected using salt, no irritation of dry skins. We visited during high summer, and nothing beats a swim in a private pool after a long hike in the beautiful Cretan gorges. Lots of restaurants on the beach promenade nearby, as well as family tavernas making tasty Cretan cuisine in the back streets nearby the villa. We really enjoyed our stay. If we visit Crete again, we will surely want to stay in this villa again! Thank you Mary and Eva for your hospitality!
