“Friendly staff, convenient location”

The staff were very friendly to us and our baby, and we had a really enjoyable stay. The location is also very convenient—just a minute from the beach and grocery shop, and only a few minutes from plenty of great restaurants. Definitely a great choice for a family break.

Everything was perfect, especially service. Maria helped us with everything, from car rent, taxi to best places for visit. Nice breakfast, beautiful view and clean beach. This place made our trip 10/10

We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel, and a big part of that was thanks to Maria. 😊 She was an absolutely incredible host—warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring from the very first moment. She gave us excellent advice about different excursions around Crete and helped us feel completely at home throughout our stay. Because of her kindness and professionalism, our entire experience was even more special. The hotel itself is beautiful and offers excellent value for money. The food was delicious and we were especially grateful for how carefully the staff handled our gluten-free meals. Everything was prepared with great attention and we felt very well taken care of. ☺️ The location is also fantastic—the sea was only a one-minute walk from our room. We even enjoyed our breakfast with a wonderful seaview, which made every morning feel unforgettable. Overall, our stay was truly amazing. We are very happy with our experience, we highly recommend this hotel to everyone and we would love to come back again.

We are very much enjoyed our stay at Ostrakon suites and will probably come back in the near future. our rooms were well equipped and very clean. The situation is perfect : close to the beach and many restaurants and shops. And we couldn't dream of a better responsible than Maria : always available to help and come with suggestions for visits, restaurants, etc. E.g. no need to ask for transport to the airport, Maria anticipated and proposed her help. So overall, we will certainly recommend this place to our friends.

Amazing 2 bed apartment with a fabulous balcony. The room was modern, immaculate and had all the facilities you need. Lovely view of the sea. The beach was steps away and breakfast at Me Gusta was very good. Supermarket, pharmacy and many restaurants nearby. Despite the proximity of the main street, the apartment was very peaceful. Thanks to Maria, the owners and cleaning lady for a wonderful stay. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

Perfect Stay by the Beach – Thanks to Maria! We stayed at Ostrakon Suites in Agia Marina for a week in July and loved it. The room was large, very clean, and had everything we needed – plus a stunning view over the beach, which is just steps away. What truly made our stay special was Maria. She was incredibly helpful and kind, giving us all the information we needed about restaurants, sights, car rentals, and activities. The cleaning lady was also lovely and kept our room spotless. Breakfast was at Me Gusta restaurant, they offered breakfast and also served fantastic and very delicious food with a stunning view. For breakfast, we could choose from three options, and we went with the European breakfast. While it was tasty, I would have preferred a buffet to have more variety during the week – especially to try some Greek breakfast options. The best part of the hotel is Maria. If she’s still there, I know exactly where I’ll stay next time I visit Agia Marina. Highly recommend!

The apartment, which was just a few steps from the beach, had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation — including a small kitchen. Towels were changed daily, and the place was always very clean. Breakfast is available at the Me Gusta restaurant right by the sea. Maria was a perfect host: exceptionally warm and helpful, with great recommendations for local restaurants and trip ideas.

Maria the receptionist was brilliant from the time of booking and throughout the stay. She provided alot of information on things to do and restaurants. She was friendly and provided a personal touch, an asset to the hotel. The hotel was modern, comfortable and clean and a great location to the beach. The room was spacious and had a well stocked kitchen, and the AC worked well. There is also free parking next door. They also provided beach towels and a beach bag. The hotel has a partnership with Mu Gusta restaurant where we had breakfast included and was a good start to the day. They also provided free sun loungers and umbrella. If we come to Chania again we would stay with Ostrakon Suites.

“10/10 - Modern, Clean, Comfortable and Steps to the Beach”

We stayed in the modern Seaview Deluxe Apartment and it was stunning. 4 people (2 adults, 2 teens). Beds are so comfortable, room is good size with closet storage. You can't beat the view of a sea on the spacious balcony. Walk to the beach in a matter of steps. Maria the host is above and beyond gracious, helping arrange any excursion or answer any questions. You can walk to EVERYTHING! Gorgeously appointed apartment, modern digital light/ac switches. Kitchen has everything you need. They even had drinks in the fridge, some morning rolls with chocolate, snacks for kids. We didn't want to leave.

The accommodation itself is great. It's very modern and has everything you need. The cleaning staff is friendly and does an excellent job in keeping the room spotless clean. The location is perfect as well. There is a nice sandy beach next to the suites with free sunbeds for Ostrakon guests. In addition, there are restaurants, a supermarket, an ATM, free parking (for guests), and a bus stop all just around the corner. Furthermore, Maria is an amazing hostess. She is always available for questions or requests, and is willing to go the extra mile for her guests. She is very knowledgeable about the area as well. Whether it's restaurants, bars, hikes or beaches, she knows the best spots on the island. All in all, it's one of the best accommodations I have ever stayed at and I would definitely recommend it to others.

“Ideal place to stay near Chania”

From the very start we felt welcomed at Ostrakon Suites. The location and parking was easy to find due to the instructions received in due time. Ostrakon is a true gem for people like us who travel by car and want to keep a certain independence on places to dine or to go to the beach. The whole building is new with all modern amenities, including a very effective air conditioning. Breakfast was offered at the beach restaurant with a flexible time limit, and very good, but save the first morning we preferred self-catering as there is a Nespresso machine in the apartment, and a supermarket is a few steps away at the entrance. Along with the free parking came free sunbeds reserved on the beach, which is sandy, with no pebbles or rocks in the water. All these are just half the story because what made our stay at Ostrakon so special was the guidance from Maria in places to visit, restaurants, beaches and practical everything. Thank you again Maria!

Ostrakon is a new, modern hotel. Very clean with great amenities, especially the basket with extra utensils like an iron, which was very practical. I like the family atmosphere, especially conveyed by Maria. The direct beach access was very convenient and the breakfast right on the beach with a view of the sea was perfect! The staff at Me Gusta were also very friendly! Thank you Maria for making our vacation wonderful with your tips and your loving nature! I will be back! Efcharistó poli!
