I stayed at Hotel Galini Mare for one night and had a very pleasant experience. It’s a small, family-run hotel with incredibly friendly and welcoming owners who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. As a lovely surprise, they upgraded us to a sea view room instead of the one we originally booked, which made our stay even more special. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. All the facilities were simple but perfectly adequate for a relaxing stay. Overall, it’s a charming place with warm hospitality, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Nice Position ans a warm welcome

Lovely quaint village with good restaurants. With car, ideal location to explore further a field. Out of season, great although lots of hotels and restaurants closed

Very helpful and friendly staff. Good choice of fresh food at breakfast. Great location and worth sea view extra cost, and probably quiet enough in Summer when town is busy busy!

“Good value for money”

The room was rather small but offered good value for money. The balcony was at ground level facing the courtyard. Despite the central location, it was very quiet and pleasant.

Exceptional hosts - incredibly welcoming. Outstanding location - perfectly positioned equidistant between the chill beach scene and the cosily vibrant centre. Stunning, unbeatable views from the fully opening cliff-top windows. Tasteful, fresh decor. Idyllic courtyard, minimally but beautifully landscaped, overlooked by a wonderfully open breakfast area. Silent at night. We would happily come back here - we had an authentically wholesome stay.

We visit Galini Mare frequently for short-term sea trips, having been really satisfied, since the propery offers a fabulous combination of location, amentities and welcoming staff. Our last trip there exceeded my expectations and therefore we ve already booked again ;)

The view on the sea from the balcony is priceless. The room is clean and comfy, very friendly staff. Parking is a bit challenging, but it is manageable.

Nice little room with good equipment. Service was very nice and kind. The hotel was near the harbour where the center of the town was located. We got a parking space directly in front of the hotel. Price for the room was unbeatable. Very nice little 2-star hotel with very good location. The little garden and inner courtyard was also very charming. We fully remommend the hotel for a short trip to the south of crete :)

“Great stopover”

This hotel was great for our one night stay. Very clean and comfortable and the staff were fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble. There is a good breakfast available. We would stay there again
