Nestled near the small fishing port, the promenade and the lovely beach, the newly renovated Astoria hotel is an oasis of calm in the idyllic seaside village Agia Galini. This family-run hotel offers comfortable, tastefully furnished rooms, each with en suite bathroom, air conditioning and fridge. The private balcony offers beautiful views of the Libyan Sea, the surrounding mountains or the hotel's garden. “Really great staff, tasteful and spotless !”
My terrace had a jacuzzi and that was a real treat !! The staff helped me with my suitcase. The breakfast was great. The garden terrace a delight!

Hotel was very well located, staff was super friendly and helpful, suggesting places for dinner and tours. Breakfast was great as well. Room was old but clean, though ground floor rooms have limited space for air circulation, especially after shower.

We were there in offseason, last week of the March. Room was comfortable, liked that balcony had the the clothes drying rack. Bed and matress were comfortable. Buffet breakfast for offseason rich enough. Staff helped with advices for restaurants, sightseeing, even some advices what else we can see on our way to the next destination.

Very warm welcome and helpful staff. Very comfy bed- with a topper. Big room. Super value for money. Nice breakfast and staff took pride in explaining what was home cooked. Asked for a parking spot and they made a special effort to keep one free for us.

The hotel itself is wonderful and perfectly located, near to the beach and to the old town. Kate and her staff made us feel extremely welcome and helped us in every way. No need for a tourist guide, just ask Kate for excursion recommendations and you will have a great time!

Breakfast very good. Location was difficult for us in terms of the steep hills. However, Kate, the manager very kindly gave us lifts to and from the beach and village. So helpful and appreciated.

“Luxorious stay at Agia Galina.”
We got to stay on the pent house suite, with our own private terazze. The view was amazing panorama from the mountains to the sea. Staff was so sweet, felt like they really care about their customers. Got good recommendations for restaurants and got also our loundry done really fast.

The owner prepared a small surprise (cake and wine) because it was my birthday and this made the experience fantastic. I can only but recommend the hotel. The breakfast is fantástic and has several options.
