From the minute we arrived we were treated like family. Nothing was too much trouble for Noreen and Jean Paul who are both extremely interesting and will engage and enthral you with their incredibly wide ranging life experiences. The property is beautifully decorated and presented with access to a comfortable lounge among other facilities. The breakfast was awesome and was tailored to our taste by Noreen. High quality produce beautifully presented. Noreens home made nettle products are fascinating and extremely healthy. Highly recommended!!

This great B&B is very individual with interesting features. Large bedrooms with very comfortable beds & spacious en suite. Excellent breakfast with range of cereal. muesli & granola plus seeds & fresh fruit salad. Variety of yoghurt and got lactose free milk for us. Full Irish breakfast and smoked salmon options. Great poached eggs. Freshly made coffee or selection of teas. Hosts Noreen & Jean-Paul are very interesting and make great conversation.

Super friendly hosts, delicious home-made food, amazing quiet place and a great location to set off to any part of Northern Ireland. Very comfy bed! Will definitely come back!

Noreen & Jean Paul were the kindest, loveliest hosts. I was treated like royalty for my short stay. The breakfast was exceptional! Glass of wine before bed was a lovely touch too! Thanks so much, I look forward I my next stay.

Wow wow JP and Noreen were excellent hosts ,they made us so welcome even as we was so early to check in ,they made us tea ,and lovely home made cake ,they showed us on the map were to visit ,which was great , they even told us about there time working for BA crew members ,they had us in stitches ha ha ,the breakfast in the morning was a traditional Ulster fry and it was yummy yummy .Will definitely be going back there again ,as they where our kind of people Well don JP and Noreen thanks again for a wonderful stay Looking forward to seeing you both again in the very near future,King regards Alan @Jan xx.

“Excellent, home away from home”

This is an exceptional gem in the heart of the country. Peace, quiet, amazingly comfortable bed, proper freshly cooked breakfast. The host JP & Noreen are awesome and really go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Its a credit to them.

Noreen and PJ are great hosts, nothing too much, made us feel very welcome, local knowledge and tips for places to see. Amazing breakfasts so much choice , loved it! Definatley recommed.

We had the most amazing time with Noreen and Jean Paul. Thank you so much for having us and taking such good care of us. The place is absolutely beautiful and you will not feel like staying at an B&B but staying with friends or family. Cosy room and the most comfortable bed we slept in for ages, delicious home cooked breakfast, amazing stories and anything else you can wish for.Thanks for all the great recommendations and we really hope to come back one day!!!

From the moment we arrived (3 hours early) Noreen and JP were exceptional hosts, nothing was too much trouble. They shared their knowledge generously, which we are so grateful for. It helped us to visit and see things that we probably wouldn't have otherwise thought of. The Vandees is a lovely house in a wonderful setting and is decorated uniquely in Noreen and JP's artisan style. Our room was lovely and the bed was so comfortable, it felt home from home. The breakfast was spot on every morning and certainly filled you up for the day. Our last night at The Vandees was our anniversary and Noreen very kindly gave us and two other guests a lift to the local town for dinner and then picked us up a few hours later, it was a lovely thing to do.

Wow! We had an exceptional time, JP & Noreen are excellent hosts, going above and beyond. Their accommodation is very unique, very, very comfortable, the most amazing bed, huge and so comfortable and luxurious, along with our room, so cozy and spacious, so peaceful with a gorgeous bathroom. We had an amazing breakfast, lovely selection of fresh fruit, freshly cooked fry done to perfection, Noreen’s own baked soda and bread was delicious! We had such a warm welcome, lovely wine and what a fantastic couple! They are so interesting, friendly and make you feel so welcome. Would 100% recommend, an absolute gem!

An absolutely lovely and friendly couple who would do anything upon arrival! They gave us a lift to our party and even offered to collect us again. Fantastic facilities and a great Ulster fry!!

Beautiful B & B run by beautiful people. Nothing was too much trouble for Noreen & Jean-Paul, they provided fabulous hospitality & great food & Coffee. The bedroom was large, with a lovely hot shower. Bed was large & very comfortable. Direction instructions were detailed & we were able to find Vandees easily (even in the dark). Highly recommend Vandees
