Overview
Haus Gerstbauer is a 300-year-old, renovated building in a quiet location in the centre of Aggsbach-Markt in Lower Austria's scenic Wachau region. It features a garden with barbecue facilities and offers bicycle rental and free parking on site. Each apartment comes with a fully equipped kitchenette including a dishwasher, a private bathroom and a TV with satellite channels. A washing machine and a dryer are available for all guests. Final cleaning fee is included in the room rate. Aggsbach-Markt has a beautiful sandy beach on the Danube River for swimming and sunbathing. The train and bus station is a 5-minute walk away and a supermarket can be found just 200 metres from Haus Gerstbauer. The famous Venus of Willendorf was once found in a village just 2 km away, which is now home to the Venus Museum. The Baroque Melk Abbey and the Jauerling Ski Slope can be reached by car in 10 minutes.
