Overview
Located in Aggsbach-Dorf on the right bank of the Danube in the heart of the Wachau Valley, 10 km from Melk, Residenz Wachau features a 10,000 m² garden and a terrace offering panoramic views of the river. Free WiFi is available. All rooms have a balcony and offer views of the Danube or the garden. They feature satellite TV, a work desk, and a bathroom with a hairdryer. Some rooms are in an annex. A rich breakfast buffet is available in the morning. Regional specialities and fine local wines are served in the 800-year-old vaults of the Wachau Residenz' wine tavern. The breakfast was excellent, and the view from both the terrace and the room of the Danube and the surrounding hills was wonderful. The hotel is in a wonderful location, just a 10-minute drive from Melk. It is extremely quiet, and the surrounding area is perfect for excursions, with castles, abbeys, and palaces. An ideal place for relaxation and cultural enrichment.

“Best view, super kitchen, nice garden with a bathing lake”
The hotel has a fantastic location and view. We have been lots of places but the breakfast here is outstanding. We loved the bathing lake and the garden around. As they were very flexible with check out i have time to make some gymnastic and swim afterwards at check out day as well. The kitchen is Gault &Millau recommended, it is worth to try. Do not miss the beach dumpling!
